Analysis of students: 1,学生在前面单元已经学过家庭成员的表达，能够通过观察分析家庭成员的一些活动. 2,学生已经具备基本询问和回答的能力.

Teaching Aims: 1,能听懂并会说有关家庭活动的短语：cooking dinner,walking the dog,watering the plants,cleaning the room,listening to music,watching TV,feeding the fish. 2,能听懂并会在适当情境中运用what’s he/she doing?询问他人正在干什么. 3,能够模仿chant,建立语感.

Teaching Points: 1,知道用what’’s he/she doing ?询问他人正在做什么. 2,能模仿短语和句型的发音.

Teaching Difficulties 1,注意区分加ing后发音的变化. 2,注意区分cooking dinner,watching TV,listening to music中不加the.

Teaching Procedure：

一,Warming up :

1,T:OK,Class is begin,Hello,boys and girls. Nice to meet you...Sit down please. I am your teacher today, I am Mrs Xie.

T:Today we have 4 groups,this is group 1,group 2,group 3,group 4.

2,T:Look,This is my fingers,please show me your fingers.this is Daddy finger,Mommy finger.....(show the fingers when intoruction).Let’s listen to music and clap together. (play the flash,all do guesters)

二,Lead in: 1,Show the Look and Say picture T:Boys and girls ,look at the picture,Here is Bill 's family.His mom,Dad,sister,grandma,grandpa. Oh,They are doing different things.These are Bill's family activities.

Unit 5 Family Activities (writting it on blackboard)

T:first,listen to the chant,then answer my question:what is Bill doing ? (play the chant for one time,teacher follow the guesture of picture)

T:OK,what is Bill doing ?who can try ? Ss:....

T:You are right,Bill is cleaning the room,let’s praise(good,good,you are good)

2,Lead in the seperated pictures

3,Listen and Chant

4,Listen and Tick T:Let’s listen carefully,I want to know whose ear is better. (play the pictures and video) T:Who can try ? Picture 1 or 2 ?

5,Show Ask and Answer picture T:Look,this is teacher,this is Bill.the techer is asking Bill (play one dialogue as example) T:I need a volunteer,OK,this girl please.
