Ⅰ. Warm-up 1.
Greetings. 2.
Sing a song. Ⅱ. Lead-in 1.
Tell Ss a secret about Ms Xue. 2.
Watch a video about a gift from some girls to Ms Xue. Let Ss know that their Chinese teacher likes to keep the classroom clean. Ⅲ. New Lesson 1.
Learn the new word “trash”. (1)We don’t have enough time to hold a party, but we can do something for Ms Xue. Q: What’s on the ground? (2)Pick up the trash together. Say the sentence “I pick up the trash.”

Learn new words “throw” and “trashcan”. (1)Try to throw the trash in some other places. We cannot do this, use “Don’t…” to make the sentence. (2)Throw trash into the trashcan. 3.
Listen and read. Ⅳ. Practice 1.
Show some symbols to practice “Don’t”. 2.
Watch a video to know that we cannot throw trash into the sea.

Classify trash. (1)Let Ss know the different kinds of trashcans. (2)Explain why we should classify trash. (3)Work in groups to throw trash into the right trashcan.(If the time is enough.) Ⅴ.
