T: OK! Firstly, let’s watch two videos and decide which is small talk? Which is serious talk?

Ss: The first one is serious talk. The second one is small talk. Because the second one is relaxing…the first one is more formal…

T: Very good. Now I will show you some situations and decide which belongs to small talk and which belongs to serious talk. Step Ⅱ：

通过听力训练（听前浏览，回答问题，选择，填空）引导学生在真实语境中进一步理解“闲聊”的特点，并训练在听力中抓住重点信息，排除干扰信息的能力，并总结闲聊的常用表达方式。

通过角色扮演，引导学生在合适的语境选择合适和低调的表达方式来表达自己的观点和态度。
