Unit 3 Travel journal (writing) 教材分析：本课主要是在前面已经通过读、听、语法种种输入之后对学生进行写作训练。并且在写的过程中，针对本单元所学内容，帮助学生复习现在进行表将来以及怎样写出一篇与旅游有关的文章。

教学目标：1.知识与技能

Review the grammar point-----the present continuous tense expresses the future; write a writing about traveling. 2.过程与方法

Develop the students’ writing ability and let them learn some skills in writing a travel writing;

Train the students’ writing ability through pair work and under the guidance of the teacher.

3.情感态度与价值观

Arouse the students’ interests in English learning and love our hometown---Turpan. 教学重点：1. Enable students to learn to use some important words and expressions. 2. Master some basic knowledge about how to write a writing about traveling. 教学难点：Enable the students to write a writing about traveling. 教学过程

Step1. Review (interview)＆Lead in One student is a reporter, he /she interviews his/her classmates about their winter holiday plans to review the grammar point. e.g. Where are you going in your winter holiday? \When are you leaving? \How are you going there? \ How long are you staying there? \Who are you going with?\ what are you doing there？

Step2. Present Show some pictures of Turpan Step3. Writing 1.

Show the writing to the students 2.

Analyze the writing 3.

Explain the important and different points(vocabulary\sentence structure) 4.

Write the letter. 寒假你的朋友李华和她的家人打算来吐鲁番度假。希望你给她推荐吐鲁番一些景点，并写信告诉她一些其他信息。100词左右。
