教学目标：

1、能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词：January, February, May, June, September, October, November, call。

2、能听懂、会读、会说单词：festival, Spring Festival , Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival,

get together, dumpling, dragon boat race, place, rice dumpling, moon cake, old, mountain, rice cake。

3、能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型：The Spring Festival is in January or February. People eat rice dumplings at this festivals.

4、能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

5、让学生初步了解更多的传统节日，更加热爱中国的传统节日。

教学重难点：

Step1 Warm up 1、Greetings

T: Hello,boys and girls. Are you ready for our class?

Ss:Yes! T:OK!Class begins!Good morning,boys and girls.

Ss:Good morning,Miss Wu. 2、Free talk T: How are you today?

S1: I’m fine, Thank you. T: Do you like singing?

S2: Yes. T: Me,too.Can you sing well?

S2: No, I can’t. T: It doesn’t matter. I can’t sing well either.But I like listening to music.Let’s listen.

Ss: Step2 Pre - reading 1、T: Great!When do we say “Happy New Year”? S1:On New Year’s Day. T: When is New Year?(出示日历）

It’s on the first of January.（教学January，跟读，板书）

T: In China,we have Chinese New Year.We also call it Spring Festival.（教学Festival，查字典，跟读，拼写，板书）Spring Festival is a Chinese festival.Do you want to know more about Chinese festivals? Today we’ll learn Unit 7 Chinese festivals.（出示课题，开火车读）

T: When is Spring Festival? Ss:一月，二月。

T: Sometimes it is in January. Sometimes it is in February.（教学February，跟读，板书）So we can say Spring Festival is in January or February. 2、T: January and February are months.How many months are there in a year?What are they?Let’s enjoy a song and try to say.（播放月份歌，截屏并出示12个月份。）

T: Let’s try to read,OK? Ss:

January, February,March,April,May. T: Let’s spell “May” together.（跟读，拼写，板书）There is a festival in May, do you know? Ss:劳动节。

T: Yes，we call it May Day.（出示五一劳动节图片。）June（跟读，拼写，板书）In June, there is a special day for children.What is it? Ss: Children’s Day. T: Wonderful!Are you happy on Children’s Day? Ss:Yes! T: July,August.I like July and August. What about you ?

Ss:Me,too. T:Why? Ss:暑假。

T: Yes.In July and August,there is a summer holiday.We don’t have to go to school.How to read this one? September,（跟读，拼写，板书）In September,there is a special day for me, what is it?

Ss: Teachers’ Day. T: Great! Thanks for remembering this day,I’m very happy.What about this one? October.（跟读，拼写，板书）Which festival is in October? Ss:国庆节。

T: Yes.We call it National Day. It is the birthday of our country.How to read this month? November. （跟读，拼写，板书）Is there a festival in November?Ah. Do you know Double Eleven? Taobao Festival? Ss:Yes. T: There is a big sale on the Internet at Taobao Festival.Does your mother buy many things on that day? Ss:Yes. T: The last one. December. Christmas is in December

3、T: We know there are different festivals in different months.People do different things and eat special food at different festivals.Now let’s guess what festival it is?（课件出示节日图片，部分遮盖。Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival）

Step3 While - reading 1、T: Today I bring you a cartoon,what festivals do they talk about?Let’s watch and choose.（课件出示五个节日选项，打开希沃互动课堂，立即答题，全体多选。）

2、T: You did a good job.Now open your books, read the story quickly and match.（打开希沃互动课堂，立即答题，全体主观，在平板上连线。）

3、T:Now,boys and girls,let’s read the first part and try to take notes. (课件出示第一部分春节，听读，师生共同完成笔记内容。齐读并完成板书内容。）

4、T: Read the second part,try to underline the key words to take notes.Ask one student to underline on the big screen.（课件出示第二部分龙舟节，让学生朗读并在书上划出关键词完成笔记。请一名同学到大屏幕前展示，试着复述并完成板书。教学dragon boat races，rice dumplings）Do you like rice dumplings? Do you want to have rice dumplings now? I’ll do a magic trick.Let’s say “Abracadabra”together.（利用希沃一体机功能变出粽子。）Rice dumplings!They are for you.That’s a joke.

5、T: It’s your turn.Take out your exercise paper,try to read the two parts and finish the notes by yourselves.（学生自读三四部分，完成笔记。分组朗读，复述，出示板书。）

6、T: Now we know some information about these festivals,I want to know who has good memory. Let’s try to remember all of them in thirty seconds.Then I’ll mess them up and ask some students to put them in right orders.（打开希沃小工具计时器，设置倒计时30秒，打乱表格内容，请三名同学到屏幕前排序。）

Step4 Post - reading 1、T: Wow,you all have good memories.Thank you. We know some information about these festivals, but in fact,we just know a little about them.What festival do you want to know most?（希沃互动课堂，立即答题，全体单选。）Oh,most of you want to know more about Spring Festival. Let’s watch a video about it.What other things do people do at Spring Festival?（观看春节视频，关注春节活动。）

Ss: Have a big dinner,clean the houses,wear new clothes,get red packets... T: Do you get red packets at Spring Festival? Ss: Yes! 2、T: If we want to know more about the other festivals,what should we do? Ss: 看书，上网查...... T: Yes,we can search on the Internet.There are also many festivals in western countries. Step5 Homework 1、Find out more about Chinese festivals and Western festivals and compare the different cultures between them. 2、Make a poster about your favourite festival and show them to your friends.
