Step1 : Warm up (1)师生相互问候。

(2)教师播放五年级上册歌曲“Days of the week”，学生跟唱。

（设计意图：活跃课堂气氛，激发学习英语的兴趣。）

Step2.Review

(1)教师用句型How many days are there in a week? What are they?提问学生，让学生快速回忆星期一到星期日。

(设计意图：利用表格和卡片出示词语，激发同学们对所学单词的记忆。）

师生用句型From Monday to Friday,I usually have English classes...What do you do from Monday to Friday?I always/usually/often/sometimes... On the weekend,I often wash the clothes...What about you?I always/usually/often/sometimes... 进行简单的对话. （设计意图：鼓励学生说出自己一周活动的词组，为本课的学习做好铺垫。）

教师用句子We have many things to do everyday.We are always very busy.做总结，并用句子What about Zip and Zoom?Look, they are coming.引出新授内容。

Step 3：Presentation (1)

（课件出示图一）教师利用问题What time is it ?引导学生观察图片。教师继续提问What day is it?引导学生听故事内容并回答问题。It's Saturday.教师提问学生Is Zip very busy?Why?Guess!启发学生大胆猜想。Are your guessing right?Let’s check. （设计意图：培养学生发散思维。）

（课件出示图二）Look!教师利用问题What are these?引导学生观察图片，并学习nuts一词，出示多种坚果的图片让学生理解单词意思。用What does Zip do?提问，让学生在听音中找到答案。”collect nuts”结合动作理解收集坚果的含义。利用When does Zip collect nuts?提问学生，引出Zip 周一至周五收集坚果，并将卡片粘贴到表格相应的位置上。板书collect nuts并领读。

T:From Monday to Wesnesday,Zip usually collects nuts.What about other days,Thursday,Friday,Saturday or Sunday?What does Zip do on Thursday? (3)

(课件出示图三)T:Look!Where are the nuts?

Ss:They are on the ground.

T:Yes.Zip collects nuts from Monday to Wednesday.Why are the nuts on the ground again?Listen!What does Zip do?

Ss:dry my nuts. T:Yes.Do you know “dry”?Look,the farmer drys the wheats in the sun .Zip drys the nuts on Thursday.将dry the nuts 图片贴到表格里，板书dry the nuts并领读。

T:Why does Zip dry the nuts?What are the nuts for?Guess! (4)

(课件出示图四)T:Look!There are many animals here.Who are they?Are they Zip’s friends?What does Zip do?Listen!

Ss:eat nuts

T:Yes.Zip eats nuts with her friends .将eat nuts图片贴到相应的表格里，板书eat nuts 并领读。

T:If you have good things ,what will you do?

(学生自由回答) T:From Monday to Wednesday,Zip usually collects nuts in the afternoon. On Thursday, Zip often drys the nuts in the sun .On Friday,she eats nuts with her friends.What about the weekend?What does Zip usually do on the weekend?Listen!

T:On the weekend,Zip often watches TV,but what wii she do this weekend? Ss: I have a show.I’ll play the pipa . T:Saturday and Sunday are the weekend.When will Zip play the pipa?Saturday or Sunday?Listen!

Ss:Saturday 将play the pipa图片粘贴到表格相应位置。

T:What does Zip say ?Listen!Why does Zip say “Oh, no”

(学生猜测) Where will Z ip go?Does Zip walk? No,she runs. T:What will happen next?What’s the ending ?

(学生补充故事) T：What will you say to Zip?

(学生给Zip提出建议) （设计意图：引导学生一步一步理解故事内容，并学习本课核心短语和句型。）

Step4. Consolidation and extension

(1)播放故事视频，学生欣赏整个故事。

(2)Practise the story and then do the role play. Homework 1、Act out the story with your partner . 2、Talk
