理解并在具体情境中运用新句型。

【学前准备】

教师准备：课件，图片，玩具等

学生准备：动物玩具或布娃娃

【教学流程】

Ⅰ.Warming-up Let’s sing a song “ At the zoo”.

T asks: I like pandas. What animal do you like? According the student’s answer and divide the students into the four groups. Eg: bird groups. Ⅱ.Learning

1. The teacher shows the picture of the monkey and giraffe and says: Look at the animals, what can you say?(激发学生回忆At the zoo 歌曲歌词Monkey is short, giraffe is tall.)

Let the students sing the lyrics. At the same time, learn the new words “ small, big”.

And sing the song: The monkey is small. The giraffe is big. Let the students show their animals and talk about them.

2. The teacher shows the picture of the octrich and says: Look at this animal, the head is small . It has a small head.(板书鸵鸟的照片，张贴黑板，板书a small head) Look at the body, It is big. It has a big body. (张贴a big body) Look at the tail . It is short. It has a short tail. （张贴a short tail）

Look at the legs, They are long. It has long legs. (张贴long legs) 3. Play the tape, let the student repeat. Ⅲ.Practice 1. PPt shows the picture of cartoon “The son and the father”. The teacher says the son wants to the zoo, and the father takes him to see the animals.(过渡语) Talk about the son and the father. Look at the son . He has big eyes. Now,

They are play the game. Look! His eyes are small. Show “ small, small, make your eyes small.” Let the students say and do actions. （让学生边说边做）

Like this, say and do “big, big, make your eyes big. ”,” short, short,

make your arms short”, “long, long, make your arms long.”

2. Play the tape, let the students say and do. 3. Let the students act it out. Ⅳ. Practice 1. Show PPt, let the students say the opposites. Let the students have a PK. Who has a good memory? 2. Guessing game. Show PPt, guess what animal is this?(读题时，边读边表演，让学生抢答) Ⅴ.Summary The teacher says: In this class, what can you learn? Sum up the knowledge of this class.

Ⅵ.Drill 1.Let the students show their animals or dolls and introduce them in pairs. Then let some students introduce in class. 2.The teacher says: Can you sing according to the song At the zoo? Let the students change the lyrics of the song At the zoo, and sing loudly in class.(鼓励学生大胆改变歌词，创作歌曲，激发学生兴趣。) 3. The teacher says: when you go to the zoo, what can you do? Show PPt and educate the students protect the animals. Because we are friends.
