一、《英语课程标准》中指出小学阶段英语教学的总目标：激发学生的学习兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，建立初步学习英语的自信心，培养一定的语感和良好的语音语调基础，使学生形成初步用英语进行简单的日常交流的能力，从而培养学生得综合语言运用能力。

《英语课程标准》中二级目标对小学高年级学生的要求：对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好，能用简单的英语互致问候，交换有关个人、朋友及家人的简单信息。能根据所学内容表演小对话和歌谣。能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的小故事。能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。乐于了解异国4. 教学目文化习俗。

一、教材简析及教学重、难点

1.教材简析：本课的教学对象是六年级学生。本单元的主题就是现在进行时的复习及运用。本课用大明寄给玲玲的信和照片呈现了现在进行时的句子。学生通过学习本课内容，应会描述照片中的活动情景。

二、课堂练习设计

结合教学目标及学生的实际情况，我主要设计了Listen and answer, Read and judge, Describe the pictures,sum up 等活动。
