Analysis of the teaching material 本课为PEP五年级下册Unit 2 A let’s learn& Let’s sing 。本单元的话题是季节与天气，教学内容和学生的生活联系密切。本单元的第一课时，要求学生听、说、读、写五个单词：season, spring, summer, fall, winter，并能用“Which season do you like best?”这个句型问答最喜欢哪个季节。本单元在内容上与四年级下册Unit 3有相同之处，描述天气情况的形容词如cool, cold, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny等单词都已经出现过，本单元是对过去的一个提升。因此在学习时，可以反复复习旧知，通过不同形式的呈现新知，通过以旧带新，降低学习难度。本课时是一节单词和歌曲教学，内容简单，内涵丰富。

Analysis of the students 五年级学生已经学过两年多的英语，有一定的听、说、读、写和理解能力。通过四年级下册U3的学习，学生已基本掌握weather，warm ，cold，hot , cool等单词和句型

Teaching reflection: 本课时的教学主题是学生熟知的四季单词和简单易学的歌曲What’s your favourite season?。整节课我由四年级熟悉的Let’s chant热身导入，教学新课时我采用了多媒体演示法、情景导入法和游戏法，视、听、玩结合帮助学生掌握新词，又采用了自然拼读法帮助学生有效拼读season,spring,winter。单词教学后及时进行了男、女生，分组，开火车，全班读多种方式操练。歌曲教学环节通过男女生PK,Group work等方式大大激发了学生的学习兴趣，学生在唱中学，在玩中学，学习效果良好。
