Analysis of the teaching material 本课为PEP五年级下册Unit 2 A let’s learn& Let’s sing 。本单元的话题是季节与天气,教学内容和学生的生活联系密切。本单元的第一课时,要求学生听、说、读、写五个单词:season, spring, summer, fall, winter,并能用“Which season do you like best?”这个句型问答最喜欢哪个季节。本单元在内容上与四年级下册Unit 3有相同之处,描述天气情况的形容词如cool, cold, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny等单词都已经出现过,本单元是对过去的一个提升。因此在学习时,可以反复复习旧知,通过不同形式的呈现新知,通过以旧带新,降低学习难度。本课时是一节单词和歌曲教学,内容简单,内涵丰富。

Analysis of the students 五年级学生已经学过两年多的英语,有一定的听、说、读、写和理解能力。通过四年级下册U3的学习,学生已基本掌握weather,warm ,cold,hot , cool等单词和句型

每个季节都有不同的风景,引导学生多走进大自然;强调一年之际在于春,一日之计在于晨。

(1) T:(出示春天风景图),What season is it?引出单词spring并带读。What’s the color and weather about spring? 引导学生说说春天的颜色和天气。

(2) T:( 师假装很热,很想吃冰淇淋)Oh!It’s hot.I want to eat some ice cream.What season is it?引出单词summer并带读。How about the color and weather of summer?

(3)T:(出示秋天落叶图片)What season is it?引出单词autumn并带读单词autumn。In autumn,The leaves fall and fall and fall.So we call autumn “fall” too. How about the color and weather of fall?

Teaching reflection: 本课时的教学主题是学生熟知的四季单词和简单易学的歌曲What’s your favourite season?。整节课我由四年级熟悉的Let’s chant热身导入,教学新课时我采用了多媒体演示法、情景导入法和游戏法,视、听、玩结合帮助学生掌握新词,又采用了自然拼读法帮助学生有效拼读season,spring,winter。单词教学后及时进行了男、女生,分组,开火车,全班读多种方式操练。歌曲教学环节通过男女生PK,Group work等方式大大激发了学生的学习兴趣,学生在唱中学,在玩中学,学习效果良好。
