教学内容：本课时选自四年级上册

Unit 6 Meet my family单元的C 部分，这个部分讲述的是Zip的一些小动物朋友来Zip家里参观，Zip为他们介绍墙上的家人照片以及他们的职业。

教学目标：

1. 能借助图片读懂简单的故事，复习与巩固本单元重点单词以及句型；

2. 能敢于开口，与其他的同学一起合作做简单的角色扮演，体会英语学习的乐趣；

3. 能运用故事中所学句型延伸至自己的生活中，编一些日常对话。

教学重点：1. 理解并朗读故事；

2. 在故事的语境下理解个别单词及句式的意义，如单词：taxi driver, baseball player以及句子：These are photos of my family. / Is he a teacher? 教学难点：角色扮演，介绍自己家人照片并描述职业。

教学过程：

Step 1 : Warm up

1. Greetings:

T: Good morning, everyone. How are you today? 2. Sing a song “My family”.

3. Game: Look and match (match the words with their Chinese meaning);

Sharp eyes (circle the correct word among the letters) [设计意图：以上节课学过的与本单元课题相关的英文歌曲导入新课，能够激发学生学习的兴趣，而“连一连”和“火眼金睛”这两个小游戏又很好地调动了学生参与课堂的积极性，同时复习了旧知。] Step 2

Presentation 1. Show the pictures of “baseball”

and “baseball player”, “taxi”

and “taxi driver”.

S: Zip. T: Yes, our old friend Zip. And who are they?...Cat, dog, rabbit and mouse. And what are they doing? Can you guess? S: Playing games, eating dinner…

4. Ask and give the answers about the question “what are they doing” :They are visiting Zip’s home.

5. Watch the video again and then answer the three questions: a. Are they photos of Zip’s family b. What’s Zip’s father’s job? c. Who is the baseball player?

Answers:

a. Yes, they are.

b. He’s a cook.
