Teaching material:
1.本课为清华版小学英语一年级上册第三单元第7课时。
2.本课课型为复习课及拓展延伸:在第三单元学生已经学会了八种颜色和简单询问颜色的句子。
在这节课中,根据学生已有知识来拓展延伸,使学生达到用所学知识描述身边实物颜色,关注身边彩色的生活。
Teaching aims: 1.Ss can know all the colors:red,blue,yellow,black,white,green,orange,purple,pink,brown. 2.Ss can know how to mix 2 colors and get a new one. 3. Ss can use the dialogue to describe the colors they can see:What color do you see? I see... Focal point and difficulties : The sentence patterns:What color do you see? I see...
The words: red,blue,yellow,black,white,green,orange,purple,pink,brown. Difficulties: Use words and sentences to describe things’ color around us fluently and completely . 1. Play a game: “Yoyo says”
Purpose:Attract students’ attention to the class. Step 2 :Lead in and Presentation
1. Free talk T: Do you like the little panda?
Do you like the balloons?
Do you like the cartoon? Let ss watch a video of 《Up》,and divide ss into 2 groups. T: If you are good,you can get some balloons on your house.
Purpose:To review and lead in grouping.
2. Welcome to the forest. T:Who lives in the forest?
Yes,Snow White lives in the forest.
Today is her birthday,she will hold a birthday party in the forest. Look! Here come her friends!
Let’s see who are they.(Have ss say Hello to her friends.)
Purpose:Show the story. Step 3: Practice
Let’s enjoy the party!
1.Game one: Shoot the colors.
T gives color cards to some students. Have them stand in the any corner of the classroom. When T says “I see red.” students say “Red! Red! Red!” with making their hands as guns to shoot the
student holding the red card.
Purpose:To practice all the colors we have learnt before.
2.Game two: Magic time.
Shake the bottles and get the colors.
Then ask ss “What color do you see?”,and write the sentences on the BB.
Purpose:To change and mix colors & To practice sentences.
3.Game three:Let’s sing.
I see yellow. I see yellow. What do you see? What do you see? I see you.I see you. What do you see? What do you see? Purpose:To have ss relaxed and strengthen the key points.
4.Game four: Bingo Time.
T shows PPT to explain the rules.
Purpose:To consolidate the sentences. Step 4: Production
Game five:Act out. Have ss choose a picture and describe what color they can see on the scene. Purpose:
To have ss make dialogues with their teammates.
Step 5: Conclusion&Emotion
Have ss enjoy some colorful pictures and let them know “Colors make our life beautiful!”
