[设计思路] 本节课通过三个任务的完成，引导学生如何珍惜友谊的过程。在完成任务的过程。综合运用目标语言，并通过与他人的合作交流，提高他们的团队合作意识。整个教学过程倡导用自主,参与,合作,交流,实践,探究的学习方式和任务型的教学途径培养学生综合运用语言的能力,有易到难,有模拟任务到真实任务,从而完成语言学习及运用的过程.。

2.有效地利用学习资源。

3.通过合作学习，启发学生的思维，培养学生的语言能力和合作精神。

Read Part 1 then decide if these sentences are true or false. Step3: Careful reading: Grammar focus and Language points Read some sentences from the passage. What do you think it will be about? 1. It was the worst loss I have ever experienced. 2. Our neighbours next door had a son, and we grew up together. 3. I'm now back in touch with Danny, and it's a privilege to call him my friend.

4. We were on good terms with everyone in the village ... 5. The first time I lost my best friend, I thought it was the end of the world. 6. He was a very considerate boy for someone so young. 7. And then at the age of 14, his parents moved to London ... Step4: Listening:Listen to the tape and match the correct answers Read the passage and number the sentences in the order they appear. 1. How did the writer and his friend spend their time together? 4. How would you describe the character of the writer and his friend? 5. Why do you think the writer couldn't forgive Danny for going to London? 6. How does the writer feel now? Step7: Summary Discuss your answers to the questions. 1. Did you have a close friend when you were a young child? What sort of things did you do together? 2. Are you still in touch with this person? If so, have you remained in touch all the time? If not, when did you lose touch? Did something special happen which changed your friendship? 3. How many friends do you still know from your primary school or before? Do you still get on well with them, or have you grown apart? 4. What are the most important features of a good friendship? What are the dangers?
