Students can read and understand words and use them to describe their classroom.

教学准备:
cards; a picture
教学流程:
Warm-up:
Sing a song " go to school "
Presentation:
Look at the picture on Page 11 which students have completed in advance. Let them say the words to elicit "floor, window, desk, chair, board, door ". Use other method to elicit " curtains, light ". Show cards of them to practise.
Put the picture of " my classroom " on the blackboard.
T: " How many (desks) are there? "
" What colour is the board? "
Let students answer the questions using " There is (are)... ."
Drill:
Games:
Hide and see; Guess the number
Students make a chant using new words.
Practice:
Students practise to use " There is/are ... " to answer the questions. Consolidation:
Let them use new knowledge to describe the classroom.
作业设计:
Write a passage to describe classroom or your own rooms. 板书设计:
