Teaching contents: 译林出版社五年级上册Unit 6 My e-friend（story time）

Teaching aims：

1. Learn the vocabularies: e-friend, wait a minute, send…to…, email, live, Chinese, study, years old. 2. Learn the patterns: Do/Does…? Yes/No, … do/don’t/does/doesn’t.

3. Train Ss ask questions by themselves according to what they’ve learnt.

4. Train Ss try to draw the mind map and talk about someone’s informations.

Step1: Warming up exercises (greetings and talk show) 1、Talk show T: First, let’s have a talk show. Please introduce your favourite family member. OK, who wants to have a try? （2—3名学生介绍）

【设计意图：学生用已学知识介绍自己的家庭成员（姓名、年龄、职业、特征、爱好等），学以致用，学生介绍完，师根据介绍内容提问，检查孩子们是否认真倾听，从而培养孩子们专心听讲的良好习惯。】

I think all of you are good listeners. You do have a good habit. And from your introductions, I know a lot about your father or mother, do you want to know something about me?

【设计意图：学生利用已学知识根据提示进行自主提问，了解更多关于英语老师的信息，最后把零碎的信息通过关键词提醒串连成一段话来介绍自己的英语老师，提高了学生用英语思考，运用语言的能力。】

T: Look, these are my e-friends. Today we are going to learn Unit 6 My e-friends.（板书课题并领读）

T: Do you have any e-friends?

How do you contact with your e-friend? Ss: QQ, wechat, email T: We usually use QQ and wechat to contact with our friends, and sometimes we send emails. （出示课件、板书、领读生词email）

T: This is an email. It’s to my e-friends. （出示课件、板书、领读生词to及to my e-friend）

T: Then I send this email. （出示课件、板书、领读生词send, send this email, send this email to my e-friend）

2、Look and guess（学生观察图片并猜测主人公在谈论什么）

T: Now let’s look at this picture. Who are they?（出示图片）

T: What do they talk about?（生看图猜测）

3、Look and ask（巧设疑问，如果你是刘涛，你想了解王兵网友的哪些信息，学生自主提问，培养学生的发散思维和用英语思考的能力）

T: If you are Liu Tao, what do you want to know about Wang Bing’s e-friend? Do you have any questions to ask?

T: Do you have more questions? So you want to know so many things. I’d like you to listen carefully and try to find out Wang Bing’s e-friend’s information. Here’s a tip for you. Please read it by yourselves.

Step 4: Assign homework: T: Today’s homework

1、Read the story and try to retell it.
