句型What can you do? I can…及四个动词词组。

四、教学难点

能读写四个动词词组，并熟练运用到句型“I can…”中。

单词卡片、录音及多媒体课件

六、教学过程

Step1 Warming up 1、

Greeting 2、

Let’s chant Run ,run, I can run.

Jump, jump, I can jump.

Read, read, I can read. Sing, sing, I can sing.

Dance, dance, I can dance. Step2 Presentation Magic box

(1)T: Well. Can you say more sentences with “I can….”

S1: I can…

S2: I can.. (Encourage Ss to speak more verb phrases.) T: Wow, you can do so many things. That’s great.

What can I do? Can you guess? S1: You can…

S2: You can…

T: Also I can play football. Teach Ss to read “play football” with PPT.

（2）Use the same way to teach “play the piano/ sing in English/ clean the house”

(3)Ask Ss to read the phrases with different ways.（eg: one by one、high-low voice）Read after the tape. Match the pictures with phrases.

(4)Game：I do you say. Ask one student to stand and do some actions, then other Ss to ask“What can you do ?”“I can play the piano.” Ask more Ss to do the game. Put these phrases into sentences“I can….”to practice，and have a competition in each group. Eg: T：What can you do?S1：I can…. What can you do? S2:…. (5)Look at PPT, practice with your partner. And then work in pairs to finish the survey. T: I’ll have a big party. If you can sing/dance….Come on, join us.
