课题:《攀登英语阅读系列--有趣的字母》之“Hungry Hat” 小学英语一年级
执教:广东省东莞市雅正小学

一、教学内容与学情分析
本节课选取《攀登英语阅读系列--有趣的字母》关于字母H的故事Hungry Hat。故事大意是:帽子先生Hungry Hat吃了火腿,吃热狗,还是饿!吃了汉堡,吃母鸡,还是想吃!吃了马,又吃河马,最后连房子也想吃!房子生气了,说“I’m hungry too.”最后帽子先生落荒而逃,把之前吃的食物全部掉出来了。故事寓意是:吃东西不可过量,要适量,不可贪婪。
故事内容如下:

I’m hungry.I’m hungry too. 故事中新词汇有Ham、Hippo、hungry,如何让学生享受绘本阅读的过程,并理解故事背后的寓意是本节课的教学重难点。一年级的学生活泼好动,思维活跃,乐于模仿和参与活动,因此这节课以学生猜故事、师生与生生合作演绎故事、学生读故事、梳理关于字母Hh的发音和小组讨论创编故事为主要环节,目的是培养学生初步阅读故事的能力和思维能力,同时促使学生意识到吃东西不可过量,要适量,不可贪婪。
二、教学目标
1.语言知识目标:能朗读绘本、表演绘本、挖掘绘本深层含义,运用核心句型“Hi…!I’m hungry.”进行绘本创编;能感知文本中Hh的发音,进行归纳以及拼读。
2.语言技能与学习策略目标:能通过绘本的表演,掌握绘本;通过同桌,小组合作,促进学生的学习能力
。
3.情感与态度目标:通过对Hungry Hat的行为进行评价,明白吃东西要适量,不可过饱。不可贪婪。在小组合作中互帮互助,加强团队合作。
三、教学重难点
1.教学重点:能理解课文对话大意,带着问题从文段中找到相关信息。
2.教学难点:在教师引导下找出隐藏在句里行间的文段信息。
四、教学准备
多媒体课件,故事人物板书,阅读材料,四人小组合作拼读纸。
五、教学过程:
Step 1:Warm-up(2 M)
师生互动。
T: Hello, boys and girls. Do you like stories? Look, here are some stories. Do you like stories? Ss: Yes. Yes.(most girls) Yes. (most boys) T: OK,today I will tell you a story. T: What is the story about? Look, the story is about this hat. (带读hat2次) T:What color is this hat? S: Yellow. T: But it’s a magic hat. He can eat food. What happen in the story? Let’s see! (出一张ppt,Hello, I am a hat, I am a hungry hat!配音)反复练习这句话,I like this hungry hat. Prize
[设计意图] 课堂伊始,通过和学生谈论卡通人物,转到学生对故事的期待。
Step 2: Pre-reading(3 M)
教师引出本节课的教学内容为讲故事。通过现场黑板板书一个大大的帽子Hungry Hat,对故事主人公进行人物特征的渲染:帽子先生非常饥饿!解决故事的封面及单词hungry的拼读。进行阅读前问题的牵引。
[设计意图] 通过故主人公的介绍,学生发散思维猜想。激发学生的阅读动机。
Step 3 While-reading(20 M)
1.First reading(3 M)提出问题:What will hungry hat eat?学生观看配有声音的绘本,然后回答问题。
T: Hungry hat is very hungry. He wants to eat a lot of food.(表演) T: But what does Hungry Hat eat? Let’s read the story.
[设计意图]
通过让学生第一次阅读绘本,吸引学生的兴趣,并引导他们对故事进行回忆,解决老师提出的问题。
问完问题,组织学生数数Hungry Hat 吃了多少样事物:
2.Second Reading(15 M)老师带着学生细读故事,通过猜想演绎,体验故事中人物的情感变化,感知人物的性格特征。并解决问题:What does Hungry Hat eat first?
T: Wow, in the story, Hungry Hat eats a lot of things.(eat action.) Can you remember what he eats? (Does he eat apple,eg. Now try to think..鼓励说英文的学生)
T: Wow, good job! You say hungry hat eats these things. Are you right? Now,follow me to read this story.
[设计意图]
通过让学生第二次细细品读演绎故事,激发学生的学习兴趣,不断体验故事中任务的情感变化。
⑴ Page2-4通过老师的演绎,让学生有故事远景与近景的同步感受,令学生更直观地感受故事。
教师现场扮演Hungry Hat(缩写为: T Hat),让学生从近景感受饥饿的帽子先生。扮演饥饿的动作表情,到处张望找东西,还有走路的动作。
T: Look, who can you see? SS:hungry hat. T: The Hungry Hat is hungry. He wants sth. to eat. ()
T:Look, what does Hungry Hat see? S: 火腿
T: That’s right! It’s ham.(教授单词ham) This is ham, this is ham,too. Do you like ham? It’s yummy. The Hungry Hat sees the ham. What does he say?(文字框有声音) T: Hi, ham. I am hungry. (全班带读,带上动作) What does ham say? Can you guess?学生回答
He says in English.但ham是用英语来说的, Listen. Oh no, don’t eat me!(Oh no, don’t eat me!学生也要学会这句话) Can you follow me?
Let’s role-play. You are ham, I am hungry hat. Hi, ham. I am hungry. Oh no, don’t eat me.
T: En,the ham is so yummy! But I am still very hungry.
<教授热狗> T:Look, what does he see this time? S: 热狗
T: That’s right! It’s a hot dog.(教授单词hot dog) This is hot dog, too. Do you like hot dog? It’s yummy. The Hungry Hat sees the hot dog. What does he say? T: Hi, hot dog. I am hungry. (全班带读,带上动作) T: What does hot dog say? Can you guess?学生回答
S: Oh no, don’t eat me! ( Hot dog 多找几个学生说 ) T: Does Hungry Hat eat the hot dog? S: Yes! T: Em..The hot dog is so yummy!
同桌表演
T: OK, boys and girls. Now,pair-work. Please choose one picture and act it out! Understand? Two minutes. T: Ok, time’s up! Who want to try? I like this ham and hungry hat! Your English is supper. You are funny.
T:The ham is yummy, the hot dog is yummy, too. But I am still hungry.拿着卡片。
<教授汉堡包> T:Look, what does Hungry Hat see this time? S: 汉堡包
T: That’s right! It’s a hamburger.(教授单词hamburger)
The Hungry Hat sees the hamburger. What does he say?(提问学生说) T: Hi, hamburger. I am hungry. (全班带读,带上动作) T: What does hamburger say? Can you guess?学生回答
S: Oh no, don’t eat me! ( hamburger 多找几个学生说 )
T: Em..The hamburger is so yummy! But, I am still hungry.
<教授母鸡> T:Look, what does he see? S: 母鸡
T: That’s right! It’s a hen.(教授单词hen) What is the hen doing? S: 她在涂口红。
T: Yes,she is doing a make-up.她在化妆. She wants to be beautiful.
The Hungry Hat sees the hen. What does he say?(只要一个学生说)
T: Hi, hen. I am hungry.
Is she afraid? 她害怕吗?
S: Yes.
T: What does the hen say? Is she happy? S: No. Is she scared? 她很害怕吗?
S: Yes!
T: OK,good. How do you know? S: 她的梳子都扔了。
T: Yes, she is very scared? What does she say?(谁来表演一下?用两个到三个学生表演。如果学生表演不好,老师表演。我看谁把母鸡的害怕演出来。学生在座位上演) T:Hi, hen. I’m hungry. S: Who is the best? 谁演的最好呀?
XXX 大家跟着他学。
T:Can Hungry Hat eat the hen? S: No. T: Yes, look at the pic. These are the wings, the hen is here. So the Hungry Hat eats the hen.
老师表演,吃了母鸡肚子都涨了,
T:Em..Yummy. But I’m still hungry.
<教授马> T:Look, what does he see? S: 马
T: Is the horse big? S:Yes, it’s big.
T: Do you think the horse is afraid of the Hungry Hat? 你觉得马害怕Hungry Hat吗?
S: No T: Why? Because the horse is big and strong. So what would the horse say? T: Will he say in this way: Oh no, don’t eat me?? (害怕,他会这样说吗?) S: No. T: Look at the horse, he is big and strong. And look at his eyes.(瞪眼眼神表演出来。)So how does he say to the Hungry Hat? 学生表演。I like this horse.这一次马是不害怕帽子的,所以他表现的很强悍。
分组表演,
T: Ok, Now you are the Hungry Hat, and you are the horse. Are you ready? Hi,….
T: Can the Hungry Hat eat the horse? S: Yes/No. T: Look, Hungry Hat ate the horse.
T: Wow, the Hungry Hat ate the big horse. But he still hungry.
<教授河马> This time, he sees .(出ppt ,出河马上来的喘气声音。) T: What’s this? (教授hippo) Can you act like a hippo? T: Is the hippo big and strong? S: Yes. T: Yes, the hippo is bigger and stronger than the horse. T: What does Hungry Hat say? S: T: What does the hippo say? Think for 1 minute. S: T: Look at the picture, what happen? 发生什么事了?
T: Yes, the Hungry Hat still ate the hippo. But he can’t swollen it. 但是他吞不进去。
T:But the hungry hat is still hungry. What does he see? Guess, what’s this? S: 恐龙,怪兽。。
T:No..no..no.. Deng Deng Deng Deng.. It’s a house. It’s a big house.(教授house)
T: What does hungry say?(全班) S: Hi….
T: What does the house say? (让学生说) Are they right? 他们说得都对吗?
Let’s see what dose house say? I’m hungry, too!配音
T:can the Hungry Hat eat the house? 让学生看图。
S:No T: What does Hungry Hat say?(让学生说) Oh no, don’t eat me!
T: Yes, the Hungry Hat is so scared and ran away.
T: All the animals were saved. 所有的东西都被救了,
What would they say to the house.? 他们会对房子说什么呢?

⑵ Page5-6通过老师的引导,让学生猜想Hot dog会说什么,激发学生的想象力,并通过师生互动,对Hat和Hot dog的演绎,体验故事的情节发展。

⑸ Page11-12渐入故事的高潮。Hungry Hat面对庞然大物的Horse能否吃的下?通过学生表演Horse的叫声、神态、奔跑的动作,猜想Horse会说什么,体验演马的乐趣,体验Hungry Hat的贪婪。

⑹ Page13-14吃河马是故事的精彩之处。加强渲染河马的体态特征fat and big,观察河马的表情,猜想河马与之前动物的不同感受(淡定从容自信),通过同桌讨论,让学生想象表演Hippo和Hungry Hat 的动作语言表情,体验故事人物的特征。

⑺ Page14-16 故事的高潮和结尾。结局可能多样,发挥学生想象力!
引导学生观察,渲染房子的big and angry,让学生充分发挥想象。让学生猜想Hungry Hat又遇到了什么?他能吃得下房子吗?学生自由想象不同的结果,并表演出来。

3.Third Reading(2 M )第三遍读故事,放手让学生朗读故事。
T: Now let’s read the story aloud after the tape.
Step 4 Post-reading(9 M)
1.总结归纳字母Hh的发音。
T: Look at the sentences, boys and girls, what can you find? What does letter Hh say? T: Yes, Hh says /h/. Can you say more words beginning with /h/?
2.图形的配对,让学生读单词配对图片。
3.通过让学生找出含有Hh的单词,引导学生总结Hh的发音,并滚动旧知,找出更多含有Hh的单词。(图1)
4.语音的迁移替换活动。通过旧词滚动,让学生尝试新词的拼读。(图2)
5.通过故事背后寓意的提炼,让学生意识到吃东西应适量,不可贪婪。(图3)
