教学流程

Step 1 Lead-in -Students listern to the song of Rhythm of the Rain complete lyrics.

-Check answers and think about two questions. (Answers: falling/telling/cry/be/looking for/to set/to grow) Q1:Are there anything special about these words? (Answer:Non-finite verbs) Q2:What are their functions?

Answers:-falling rain (attributive)

-let me cry/let me be alone/ask the sun to set (complement)

-stat to grow (object)

-telling/looking for (adverbial)

Step 2 Describing pictures Show some pictures and ask students to describe them. Sentence1: He hurried to the dining hall to buy (buy) it. Sentence 2: Eating (eat) his dry noodles, he went upstairs. Sentence 3: He walked into the classroom, being surrounded (surround)
