本单元着重讨论my parents,从职业、年龄、能力等方面以书面或者口头的讨论和询问父母的职业。
学生在二年级的学习过程中曾经接触过关于职业的单词如fireman、milkman、policeman等,对于本课时的单词学习有帮助。关于家庭成员的单词为第四单元的新授内容,整体而言为本单元的学习做了很好的铺垫。动词第三人称单数的用法,仍旧贯穿于本单元的学习中,在学习的过程中需要新旧知识有效结合,提高学生综合运用能力。助动词does在特殊疑问句中的用法。在句型练习的过程中,学生会出现混淆。
《英语课程标准》一级目标要求四年级学生能够相互交流简单的家人朋友等信息,能根据图片正确认读、书写关于职业的五个四会单词,能在图片的帮助下读懂课文并初步了解各种职业的特点。
