一、教材分析

本册书为人教版小学英语三年级下册，整册书主要围绕学校及日常活动为话题展开，共6个单元，分别为：School Subjects, My School, After school activities, My Family, Family Activities, My Home. 本课时为第六单元第一课时，教学内容以home 为大环境，进而展开介绍home中的功能室：bedroom, living room, bathroom, study, kitchen, dining room.并通过句型Where is...?He/She is in ... 来询问与回答他人在家中所处位置。

二、学情分析

对于本单元My Home这一话题，学生已在一、二年级以及三年级上册中有所学习，能认识与说出room, bed两个单词的音、形、意。同时，本单元所涉及的家与家中功能室与学生的生活息息相关，学生对此会产生熟悉与好奇的感觉，从而激发浓厚的学习兴趣。
