Teaching steps: Step1: warming-up and revision T：Good morning, students. Ss：Good morning, teacher. 活动一：Sing a song together 活动二：I have some pictures to show you, you can stand up and tell me the English name quickly. (classroom, toilet, computer room, school….) Step2: Leading-in and presentation T: look, this is our school. It’s so beautiful. Let’s go into the building and have a look. Who can tell me, how many floors are there in our school? I have two questions to ask you

Do you have a ….? Ss: Yes, we have. T: Where is it? Ss: It’s on the …..floor. Step3: Practice

活动一、listen and choose

T: I want to introduce my friend to you. He is Bill. Last week, we are talking about our school. So today, he is going to introduce his school to us. Before listening, I have two questions to show you.

1、How many floors are there in Bill's school?(

)

A、four floors

B、three floors

2、Does Bill love his school? (

)

A、Yes, he does. B、No, he doesn’t.

Now let’s listen together. (play the record of the whole text) Check the answer. Everybody look at the blackboard. From the tape we know our school building has three floors.

活动二、Read and answer

Read after the tape and answer questions. 1、

What's on the first/ second/ third floor?

Ask two Ss to come to the front. One students answer the question “we

have ….. on the …floor.”, Another Ss stick the photos on the blackboard design. Ask students to recite the sentences according to the blackboard design.

活动三、

Read after the tape again, and then finish the last two sentences on the blackboard.

活动四、

Recite the whole test together according to the blackboard.

活动五、

Let’s move on to the next part. Just now we have recite the whole test. Now I will give you two minuets to finish the blank of part B. (you can work in groups.) Check the answers.
