教材分析：

本课时是译林版小学英语五年级下册第四单元第1课时，本单元的话题是看病，本课时的教学重点是表示建议的情态动词should和其否定式shouldn't 的用法。本部分由两个场景构成。场景一呈现了Su Hai发烧了去看医生的场景，场景二呈现了Mike牙痛去看牙医的情景。两组对话的内容主要是如何简单描述病情和提供建议。Story time部分，使学生能用正确的语音，语调朗读对话，在熟读的基础上分角色朗读并进行表演。

三、教学目标

知识目标

1.能正确并流利地使用句型What’s wrong with……? What should ……do?

及其回答。

2.能熟练的掌握单词feel，should, headache, toothache等。

技能目标

能正确运用should/should’t进行口头描述。

情感目标

1.激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生自主学习和综合语言运用的能力。

2.让学生体会到健康的身体会带来更多的快乐，要学会珍惜。

Step1: Warming up 1.

Today we’ll learn seeing the doctor. First, let’s play a game. When we see the words read out.When we see the smile and say yeah. 【设计思路】通过读身体部位单词游戏，营造英语学习的氛围，同时为下面的听力练习做好准备。

Step2: Let's learn 1.

With our teeth, we call __________.With our ears ,we call ________,With our back ,we call __________. What’s wrong with you? I have a headache. What’s wrong with you? I have a cough. What’s wrong with you? I have a toothache. What’s wrong with you? I have a fever. 【设计思路】通过谈论图片，呈现相关词句，巧妙引入病情环节；有效引导学生使用句型What’s wrong with you? I have a …，使学生能运用这种方式简单的询问病情。

Step3：Story time

(1).What's wrong with Su Hai? She has a headache and a fever.

(2).What's wrong with Mike? He has a toothache. 播放录音，要求学生跟读模仿，阅读课文，分角色朗读课文

What should I do,Doctor? You should have a rest at home.You should take some medicine and drink some warm water.should是情态动词,与can 用法一致，后面跟动词原形。

完成Su Hai 的Medical Record Read in details

可以设计阅读任务，以检查学生的理解情况。
