Lesson 17
教学目标
1.学习人体部位词汇leg, knee, foot等三个单词。能听懂、会说,在句子中应用。
2.观察、了解和模仿表示身体不适的另一种表达方法,Not so well.以及对方表示惊讶、同情与抱歉的应答语:Oh, no! I’m sorry!
3.学唱英语歌曲Head, shoulders, knees, and toes,巩固所学词汇。
结合本单元的语句,自由创编对话。提升听、说和日常交际的能力。
4通过学习学生提升英语学习的积极性,增强学习自主性,互助合作性。通过任务活动学生体会使用英语交流的乐趣。
教学重难点:1、学习正确认读单词foot, knee, leg和句子How are you? Not so well.
Oh, no,I’m sorry.
2.如何在真实的语境中运用本课所学的语句进行交流。
教学过程
Step1 warming up 1.
(Divide the students into three groups)
Table rules. 2.
Sing the song “ How are you”
3.
Free talk.
S1: How are you...?
S2: I’m fine. How are you...?

Fine ,fine, thank you.

Oh ,oh ,just so

Students do the actions according to teacher’s order. T: Nod your head.
S: Look at my head. (do the actions) Step 2 Presentation 1.
Learn the new words.
book---foot ----feet
feet--ee--nee-knee
(Pronoun-cation, reading, plus, sentences)
Teacher draw the pictures on the blackboard, students put the words into right position)
Chant: leg,leg, knee,knee,foot,foot,go,go,go!
Sing the body song: Head, shoulders, knees and toes. 2.
Learn the new dialogue. (1)Listen and answer the questions. (Show the picture of Gao Wei)
Q: How is Gao Wei? S:Not so well. (listen) T: Not so well = Not very well.
S: Read after teacher. T:Now, I’m Gao Wei. Who can ask me? S: How are you, Gao Wei?
T: Not so well. (Students practice in pairs.) (2)
Listen again. Find the reason. Why Gao Wei is not so well?
T: We should say “Oh, no, I’m sorry.” to Gao Wei.
S: Listen. He hurts his leg.
T: When Li Yan sees Gao Wei, she says:” Oh, no, I’m sorry.”
Oh, no, I’m sorry.= oh, I’m sorry. (Students read the sentence) 3.
