一、教学背景
1、教材分析:
本节课为人教版《英语》五年级下册第一单元“My day”的第四课时,是一节对话教学课。本单元的学习主题是描述自己一天的日程以及周末的活动。该话题知识与学生生活联系密切。Let’s talk板块的板块的核心句有:What do you do on the weekend?/ I often watch TV and play ping-pong with my father./ I usually wash my clothes./ Sometimes I cook dinner. 2、学情分析
小学五年级的学生经过几年的英语学习已经有了一定的语言积
累,掌握了一定的学习策略。本班学生大多数都喜欢学英语,老师要设置不同层次的任务和挑战性的问题,激励学生学习的兴趣。
二、教学目标:
1、能够正确听说朗读并运用“What do you do on the weekend?”“I always/usually/often/ sometimes...”等句型来询问他人和表达自己周末做什么。
2、学生能够正确听说,认读词汇,例如:why,shop,last,sound,also,busy,need等。
3、学生能够听懂,会说,会表演Let’s talk的内容,并能够把本课所学语言运用到真实场景中。
4、学生能够在提高口语表达能力及语言组织能力的同时,增强学生帮助家长做家务的意识。
三、教学重难点:
教学重点:
1.能够在实际语境中运用关于周末做什么的问答句“What do you do on the weekend?”“I often/usually.../Sometimes I ...”来交流。
2.能够内化并表演let’s talk的交际内容。
教学难点: 学生能够在情境中运用所学句型询问同学或朋友的周末生活。

Warming up
1.Greeting 2.Sing an English song:Walking walking 设计意图:通过自由谈话和唱英语儿歌,让学生快速进入英语学习的氛围。
Step2
Revision and lead in Free talk
T:Boys and girls ,what day is it today? S:Today is Thursday. 教师PPT出示一组图片并询问:But what day is it ? Is it Thursday? S:No ,it isn’t .it’s Saturday
... T:On the weekend ,I often read books ,sometimes I go shopping.So what do you do on the weekend? S:I usually/often/sometimes... 设计意图:进一步复习已学过动词短语的同时学习新短语cook dinner 、go shopping等,为新句型的教学打下基础,降低新授课的难度。

1.出示Sarah 图片
T:Who’s she? S:She’s
Sarah. T:Yes.Today let’s talk something about Sarah’s weekend .First,listen to the tape and answer a question:
What does Sarah do on the weekend? S:She usually/often/sometimes... T:Oh ,Sarah is so busy.If you’re Sarah.So what do you need?(学习新句型You’re so busy!并充分发挥学生的想象)

... T:In my opinion,you need a robot to help you . 设计意图:通过谈论Sarah的周末活动,引出What do you do on the weekend?和单词watch TV和 cook dinner.同时引出本节课的几个重点句型并进行操练。为即将进行的对话教学奠定了基础,达到了旧知识和新知识的结合。
2、学习let’s try
T:Sarah is so busy on the weekend ,but now where is she ?Is she in the shop/library? Or is she at school? Now let’s listen to let’s try and circle. S:Sarah is in the shop. 3、新授let’s talk 教师出示课文图片并询问
T:Sarah is in the shop.But what is she doing in this shop?Can you guess? S:She is shopping. T:Yes ,she is shopping.And who is she?
S:She is Mrs. Green. T:I am a teacher,you are students.But what does she do?
S:She is ... T:Now this time I’m shopkeeper,You ‘re Sarah.So why are you shopping today? S:My mum worked last night.so I’m shopping today. T:Anything else? Now let’s listen to the tape 播放教学录音,学生整体感知。
再次播放教学录音,学生边听边画出对话中的生词和重难点句子。
第三次播放教学录音,全班学生跟着录音读对话。
设计意图:观看视频,让学生通过Sarah和店员的谈话中思考她的周末生活。同时通过对话听力练习和问题的回答,使学生对整篇对话内容有了全面的了解,为最后的语言输出,也就是表演对话奠定了基础。

设计意图:课本回归现实生活,让学生谈论自己的周末及母亲节都做什么,有意识培养学生的应变能力和应用能力。同时教育学生要多做家务,热爱劳动。
