Unit 5 Dinner’s ready B Let’s learn 教学设计

教学目标:

1.

能听、说、认读表示餐具的单词“chopsticks”,“bowl”,“fork”,“knife”和“spoon”.

2.

能读懂、运用句型“Would you like some...?”,“Yes, please, and pass me the..., please.”

3.

能听懂、会做“Let’s do”部分的指令,并了解salad的制作过程。

4.

培养学生健康的饮食观念

教学重难点

重点:

1.

有关餐具的五个单词的听、说、认读。

2.

句型“Would you like...?”,“Yes, please, and pass me the...”的运用。

难点:

1.

单词“spoon”尾音的读法,字母“i”在单词“knife”和“chopsticks”中的发音。

2.

“Let’s do”部分指令的理解和沙拉的制作过程。

教学过程:

一、课前热身/复习(Warm-up/ Preview) 1. Greetings T: Class begins. Ss: Stand up, please. T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.

Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Zhao. T: How are you today? Ss: Fine, thank you. 2.Game: Can you say. Show students the pictures and let them say the word out loudly. 3.Enjoy a song: What would you like? 听完歌后问学生:What would Wu Yifan like? Ss: Beef, fish and some soup. How about you? What would you like? 二、新课呈现(Presentation)

1.

T: Today Miss Zhao brings you a gift. Can you guess what is it?引导学生猜一猜后引出“salad”图片

2.

T接着问学生:“Would you like some salad?”

Ss: Yes, please!

T: Let’s learn how to make salad today! 3. Group discussion

T: What do you need to make salad? Discuss it in groups. 引出做沙拉的食材:tomatoes, cucumber, cabbage, lettuce and salad dressing 同时可顺势引导学生说出需要用到的道具如:knife/ fork等

呈现沙拉视频

T:Now let’s watch the video of how to make a salad. 5.

教师开始逐步向学生呈现做沙拉的步骤

1)引出bowl, 操练bowl T:First, I need a...to put these vegetables.引导学生说出bowl. 并带领学生操练bowl这个新单词。

2)做沙拉需要bowl,请同学pass the bowl. 先做示范,然后引导学生组内传一传

3)knife一词的教学

PPT上呈现整个cucumber的图和切成片的cucumber的图,问学生“How can I cut the cucumber?”引出knife并操练

教师在使用knife切的过程中边切边说use the knife.

让学生拿着塑料餐具组内说一说

4)spoon一词教学

食材都已在碗里,于是老师拿着沙拉酱问学生:“How can I get salad dressing?”引出spoon一词,并让学生操练,开小火车练习spoon的读法

5)fork和chopsticks的引出和教学

T:Salad is ready! How can I eat it. Ss: Use the fork. 引出fork, 教学fork一词

PPT上出示chopsticks的图片然后T顺势问“Can I use chopsticks to eat?”

Ss: No. 教学chopsticks一词并强调chopsticks是以复数形式出现的。

三、趣味操练(Practice)

1.

Chant: Bowl, bowl, pass me the bowl. Knife, knife, pass me the knife. Spoon, spoon, use the spoon. Fork, fork, use the fork. Chopsticks, chopsticks, use the chopsticks. 2.

跟着课本读一读

PPT上呈现John邀请Wu Yifan到家里吃饭的图片

T:Look, John invites Wu Yifan to his home. Let’s listen and find out what do they use to eat. 四、巩固延伸(Consolidation&Extension)

1. Group work: Make a salad 教师将学生分成四人小组,让学生拿出事先为他们准备的食材,让他们自己体验做沙拉,并在做沙拉的过程中用英语描述课堂所学内容

2.

做完沙拉后向学生普及文化知识: 左手拿叉,右手拿刀

并通过视频让学生加深印象

五、作业(Homework)

1. Read the five words three times. 2. Recite the procedures (步骤) of how to make a vegetable salad. 3. Try to make a vegetable salad by following the procures.
