【教学目标】

1. 语言知识: 能够听、说、认读本课时主要单词

hen, sheep, cow, horse以及它们的复数变

化。

2. 语言技能:能用英语句子

These are.../What are these/those?简单介绍描述本课动物。

3. 情感态度:热爱动物,尊重生态规律。

【教学重点】

1.词汇：sheep, hen, cow, horse, goat, lamb。

2.句型：What are these? 和They’re…

Are they…? 和Yes, they are./No , they aren’t.

【教学难点】

1. sheep 复数的不规则变化, horses 的发音。

2.句型的准确运用。

【教学准备】

1.与本课时相关的教学课件。

2.教师准备单词卡片。

3.教师给学生准备作为奖励的小星星。

【教学过程】

Step 1:Warm-up

(1)、Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls . Nice to meet you! How are you?

It’s time for English class. Are you happy? Today , we’ll learn Unit 4 at a farm. (板书课题)Read after me. (教学意图：通过日常对话拉近师生距离，自然的引入了本节课的课题。) (2)Divide into groups T: Look! We have two groups. This is group 1. This is group 2. If you did a good job ,I will give you a star, Are you clear?

Let’s have a race, Ok? （教学意图：通过分组竞争，激发学生的学习兴趣和团队竞争意识。）

(3)Listen to a song《Old MacDonald》

T: Do you like listening to music? Ok, Let’s listen to a song. 教师播放歌曲《Old MacDonald》,学生边听边拍手。

（教学意图：.教师通过媒体资源给学生播放以前学过的英语童谣《Old MacDonald》，和学生一起拍手说唱，营造轻松愉快的学习氛围，并为本课时的教学做了很好的准备。）

Step 2: Presentation 1 导入

T：Do you like the song? Do you want to the farm?(出示课件) Ok, let’s get on the bus and go to Old MacDonald’s farm ! Now, we’re at the farm. This is Old MacDonald. He has a big farm. There are many animals on the farm. (出示课件) There are more and more animals. He is very busy!

(出示课件)So he needs some workers.. Can you help him?

OK, Let’s pass the tasks. Task1----Meeting the animals. 2．Listen and Guess,

（1）Review T：Listen and guess, what’s this?

S：It’s a pig.

S: They’re pigs. 同样的方法引出duck-ducks (2)学习horse-horses

Task2—Manage the farm (1)教师出示课件，指图提问：

板书：What are these? 学生回答：

They are goats/sheep/horses...（板书：They are goats）

教师要特别关注学生单词复数形式的发音，适时纠正。

(2).Game: What can you see? T: Let’s play games, What can you see? If you can, please say it loudly.

学生快速抢答

Task3—Go to help Macdonald

Look, count and say. T: There are many animals in a farm. Let’s have a look. Look ,they are horses. How many horses are there in the farm? Let’s count together! One, two, three, four ,five, there are five horses.

同法数3 cows, 5 sheep, 2 goats, 3 lambs, 3 hens.

5. Task4—Introduce your farm T：You are very good! If you have a farm, can you introduce? Let’s have a try.

Practice in groups 学生上台展示。

（教学意图：通过猜一猜，数一数和快速抢答等游戏操练单词和句型，让学生在游戏中快速掌握了新知识；通过介绍农场，知识得到了拓展，让学生学以致用！）
