一、教材分析

本课话题是看病，教学重点是表示建议的情态动词should和其否定式shouldn’t的用法及有关询问和描述病情的句型What’s wrong with you?和I have a headache/…

二、学情分析

本课的教学内容以看病展开，在句型方面的学习，学生在四年级下册已经接触过，在接受方面比较容易。在情态动词方面，需要多强调，学生对抽象的一些词汇的接受性比较低，所以在学生学习中需要老师多指导。

三、教学目标

1.能正确理解，掌握对话内容，并能朗读，表演对话。

2.能正确听说读写词组：see the doctor, have a rest,take some medicine,drink some warm water，see the dentist,brush one’s teeth,eat a lot of sweets 3初步掌握句型 What’s wrong with you ? I have a ... What’s should Ido?You should.../You shouldn’t ... 四、教学重点与难点

1.能正确理解，掌握对话内容，并能朗读，表演对话。

2.能正确听说读写词组：see the doctor, have a rest,take some medicine,drink some warm water,see the dentist,brush one’s teeth,eat a lot of sweets 3初步掌握句型 What’s wrong with you ? I have.What’s should I do?You should.../You shouldn’t .. 4培养学生听说能力和交际能力。

Step 1 Warming up 1、T：Let’s listen to a song“Five little monkeys”

T:Do you like this song ?This time let’s sing together,OK?Show me your hands and follow me,please. 【设计意图：由一首节奏感较强的英语儿歌导入新课，将学生轻松愉快的带入英语课堂，提高学生学习英语的兴趣】

2、Free talk T:Where are the monkeys now? S:They are in the hospital. T:Who works in the hospital? S:Doctors and nurses.Today we’ll learn Unit4 Seeing the doctor教师板

T:I have a headache.What should I do? S2：You should have a rest. You should take some medicine and drink some warm water. You shouldn’t watch TV.(Help ss to answer) 【设计意图：通过自由对话，由旧知联系到新知,创设出一个老师头疼的情境，拉近与学生的距离并把本课要学的目标语以板书形式呈现出来，起到分散难点的效果。】

Step 2 Presentation 1.T:Our friends Su Hai and Mike don’t go to school today,why?Let’s watch the cartoon and complete some tasks Task1 Translation 看医生、休息、吃些药、喝些温水、看牙医、刷牙、吃许多糖果see the doctor, have a rest,take some medicine,drink some warm water,see the dentist,brush one’s teeth,eat a lot of sweets 【设计意图：给出学生汉语词组，让他们翻译成英语，检测学生的预习情况，由于给出的是母语，也利于学生对文章的理解，并再一次呈现本课的重点。】

【设计意图：此环节同桌两人一问一答，通过学生自主提问，不仅复习巩固之前的特殊疑问句，同时培养学生的发散性思维。同桌互相帮助，完成任务，缓解紧张气氛。】

Task3 P38 Think and answer 1.I have a and a . I should at home. I should and too. 2.I have a I cannot I should not I should in the morning and before bedtime. 【设计意图：考察学生对课文的理解能力，通过从文本信息中寻求答案，培养学生略读、把握关键信息的能力和书写能力。】

Step3 Practise，happy reading

1.学生跟读课文录音，注意语音语调的模仿。

2 .Group work :choose one way to read, a.Read after one;b.Read in roles,c.Read together... 3.Let’s act.How many stars can you get? 【设计意图:引导学生模仿录音，有感情地朗读文本，学习朗读过程中的语音语调抑扬顿挫，重读、弱读等朗读技巧的处理，自读环节时学生小组合作，四人一组，自选喜欢的方式去朗读和表演，并设计了竞争机制，你得了多少颗星星，将课堂推向高潮，激发学生说英语和表演的兴趣。】

Step 4 Consolidate the knowledge Do a role play 教师出示Fun time的内容，同桌两人利用教材提供的句型互相问答。 例如图片一：

Doctor:What’s wrong with you? Patient:I have a cough. What should I do,doctor? Doctor:You should take some medicine and drink some water. You shouldn’t eat ice creams 【设计意图:教师通过医生和患者间的角色扮演，巩固语言知识，学以致用，真正做到让学生用英语做事情。】

Step 5 Summary 1.本节课我们学习了就医用语：What’s wrong with you ?以及答语；我们还学习了

以should引导的建议用语，希望学生课后能够用合适的句型互相操练巩固新句型。

2.A sentence for you An apple a day keeps doctor away.一天一苹果，医生远离我。

【设计意图:鼓励学生多吃水果，锻炼身体，保持身体健康。】
