一、单元教学目标: 【语用任务】

通过单元内容上海各个月份、各个季节天气，及澳洲等地的天气情况的学习，学生能用4-5句话来描述上海各个季节或月份的天气特点及相关的活动、服饰等；同时，学生能通过阅读提炼澳洲等其他某个地方、月份、季节相对应的天气及相关活动、服饰等方面的信息跟上海对比完成“不同天气，不同____”的poster，并能用4-5句话来描述其他地方某个月份、季节的天气及相关事宜。



语言知识与技能

1. 能用本单元核心词汇sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, warm, hot, wet, dry, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December进行询问、应答、讲述并书写。掌握其音、义、形。

2. 能用本单元核心句型- How’s the weather in …? – It’s …进行询问、应答、讲述并书写。能对天气作准确的描述。

3. 能提取关键信息的阅读技能。



1. Different months, different weather 主体文本: Miss Fang and the students are talking about months and weather. Miss Fang: There are twelve months in a year. What are they?

Children: They are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. Miss Fang: Which month do you like best, children? Peter: I like January best.

Miss Fang: How’s the weather in January?

Peter: It’s cold and dry. Sometimes it snows. I can ski. It’s fun!

Kitty: I like March best. Because my birthday is in March. Miss Fang: How’s the weather in March?

Kitty: It’s warm and wet. It’s rainy. Flowers begin to grow. It’s beautiful!

Children: Wow! Different months, different weather! 辅助文本: In January and February it often snows. In March flowers begin to grow. In April and May There are many rainy days. Then in June and July Sunshine starts to fill the sky. August is hot, but September is cool. Soon the leaves begin to fall. In October people fly kites. November is always cold and dry. Jill: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Miss Fang: Very good, Jill！March, April and May make spring. June, July and August make summer. September, October and November make autumn. December, January and February make winter. How’s the weather in different seasons?

Eddie: It’s warm and wet in spring. It’s rainy. The plants grow and grow. The leaves are green. The grass is green too. And we can see many beautiful flowers. It’s nice!

Miss Fang: Yes, spring is a beautiful season. Do you like spring, Peter? Peter: No, I don’t. I like autumn. Because I can have a lot of fun in autumn.

Miss Fang: How’s the weather in autumn?

Peter: It’s cool and dry. The leaves fall and fall. We can fly kites in the park and play football in the playground. It’s fun!
