主题与内容

4A M4U1的学习主题是A visit to a farm,通过本单元的学习,要求学生能掌握一些农场动物的名称以及它们的叫声。在此基础上学生能初步了解与理解核心词汇,各种标志及各种规则。能用祈使句Don’t…来说说农场里要遵守的规则。能用句型What do they eat? They eat…谈论农场动物的习性、喜欢吃的食物。

四年级的学生在英语方面的能力,基本上已经能够做到基本的听、说、读、

写。本单元的教学主要内容是对农场上的动物进行了解,包括他们的饮食习惯等。学生已经掌握了很多农场上的动物,例如hen、cow、horse、pig、duck、dog等单词,并能够用简单的句型来进行外观上的描述,能用can的句型进行简单的行为描述,本单元的主要内容是帮助学生了解不同动物的饮食习惯,通过They like eating …的句型来进行阐述。并通过参观

Mr MacDonald的农场,让学生逐渐了解到如何参观农场,能遵守农场的规则。并能感受农场的生活,能了解动物、热爱动物、保护动物。

MacDonald: Before visiting the farm, there are some rules for you.The farm is clean and beautiful. Don’t litter on the farm. Please put the rubbish in the rubbish bin. Ss and Miss Fang: OK, Mr MacDonald. MacDonald: The animals are lovely. Don’t throw stones. You can feed them.

Ss and Miss Fang: All right, Mr MacDonald. MacDonald: The grass is so green. Don’t walk on the grass .You can walk on the road. Ss and Miss Fang: Yes, Mr MacDonald. MacDonald: The flowers are colorful. Don’t pick flowers. You can smell them.

Feeding animals on MacDonald’s farm

MacDonald: These are my horses. They are brown. They can run very fast and jump very high. They are strong. Kitty: I like horses. What do they eat?

MacDonald: They eat hay every day.

MacDonald: These are my cows and sheep. They are lovely. They can give us milk. They like eating grass.

Here are some hens and ducks too. They are super. They can lay eggs. Look! They’re hungry. They all like eating corn.
