本节课以一篇介绍英国资深魔幻小说女作家J.K. Rowling和她的著名作品Harry Potter的阅读文章为主线，使学生通过阅读了解作者的经历、小说的出炉以及对现实社会产生的影响和发展成功的过程。作为阅读课，旨在如何帮助学生通过泛读和精读来理解文章大意并能够完成相关练习。

二、教学背景分析

本模块以Fantasy Literature 为话题，旨在通过模块教学，使学生了解Fantasy Literature这一文学形式的特点和代表作，并提高对中外幻想文学的鉴赏力和文化素养。对于高二年级的学生，已经具备了一定的认知能力和理解能力，单词量的储备也有了一定的基础，因此，在合理的设计和适当的引导下顺利完成阅读并达到提升难度并不是很大。

Teaching procedures: Step1.Preview the words on P147——148 (from appeal to billionaire) ※教学意图：掌握本节阅读课的词汇，为阅读扫清障碍。

Step2. Introduction (3mins) Talk about Harry Potter books. Q: How many books are there in the Harry Potter series? What are they? ※教学意图：初步了解Harry Potter系列小说，引出即将进入的阅读课。

Step3. Prediction (2mins)
