一、内容分析：

绘本Pete the cat -I love my white shoes通俗易懂，富有趣味，很适合小学生阅读。书中的内容总共分为4个故事情节，故事开头交代了主人公Pete the cat所发生的背景，讲述Pete穿着崭新的白鞋子，高兴地哼唱着歌在街上走，一不小心踏进草莓堆中，鞋子由白色变成了红色；接着又踏进蓝莓堆中，鞋子变为蓝色了；接着又踏入泥巴中，鞋子变为棕色，走着、走着又不小心踏进了一盆水中，鞋子上的红色、蓝色、棕色全冲洗掉了，而鞋子却湿了！但这一切都丝毫没有影响他的好心情，他依然一直愉快地哼唱着歌。无论他的鞋子变成什么颜色，他都很喜欢自己的鞋子。此绘本具有情节性和旋律感，小朋友通过阅读有趣的故事情节、朗读以及角色扮演等一系列的活动，将激发他们的学习兴趣及培养他们良好的阅读习惯。通过此绘本的学习，向孩子们传递不管遇到什么困难或不如意的事情，都应保持积极、正面的乐观心态。

二、学情分析：五年级的学生学习英语快三年了，他们掌握了一定的英语词汇和简单的句型,包括一些简单的动作和身体部位的英文名称，及表达自己技能及喜好的句子: 如I love ···.他们对英语的学习兴趣浓厚，热爱表演，但是他们的注意力容易分散，有意注意持续的时间不长。因此，课堂上，我打算通过模仿、表演、小组互动等形式，让孩子们“动”起来，让他们主动参与并投入到学习中去。

三、教学目标：

学生能借助图片和通过教师的讲解理解故事内容，培养文本意识，并对情节进行预测和联想；能正确、流利地朗读绘本，在图片及关键词的辅助下表演故事；增强学生的自信心；培养学生乐观积极的品质。

四、教学重难点：

学生能根据思维导图及关键词提示，组织语言复述故事。

学生能小组合作表演故事。

五、教学准备：

1.PPT课件。

2.教学中学生阅读的绘本。

六、教学方法：

图片环游、小组讨论、观察预测、故事表演、全身反应法等。

七、教学过程：

Step1: Greeting Step2: Pre-reading: 1. Play a game: 20 seconds non-stop talking. 选择与课时内容相关联的三个单词colour, food, animal, 小组内说出与此相关的单词，激活已知，做好铺垫。

2. 由最后一个主题animal询问学生最喜欢的动物，引出老师最喜欢的动物—cat. 出示四只小猫，让学生观察Which cat is special? 引出本课Pete the cat. 3. Teach the beginning of the story, introduce the background. 4. Let’s chant. Chant the two difficult phrases with the students.（walking down the street, in his brand-new white shoes）

5. Guess: What would happen to Pete? Step3: While-reading 1. Watch and think: Ask students to watch the first part of the video and answer the question: What happened to Pete? 2.

Read the first part with the students and answer the questions: 1）. What happened to Pete? 2）. What colour did it turn his shoes? 3）. What did he do?

在回答问题时，让学生根据图片猜测重点单词短语的含义，教读并配以动作。（step in, a large pile of, cry,goodness no, keep walking along, sing his song） 3.

Key words finding. Ask ss to work in groups and find out the key words with the help of the pictures. 通过Let’s do, I say you do操练这些短语

Let’s repeat. Ask students to read after the computer from picture1-5. 5.

Mind-map thinking. Ask students to read Picture6-14 in groups and think out the mind map on the blackboard. Then ask individual student to come to the front and put the pictures and words on the blackboard. When a student put the pictures on the blackboard, teacher lead all the students to retell this part of the story. 6.

Group work: ask the students to read the whole story in groups and choose one part to act it out. 7.

Role-play. Play the whole story .At the same time, students will read and act the part out Step4: Post-reading Is Pete a happy cat or sad cat? Step5: Moral education Share the moral of the story on page 15 with students. No matter what you step in, keep walking along and singing your song, because it’s all good!
