二、Teaching Procedure 1. Greeting. T: Hello boys and girls , nice to meet you .My name is Sasa. 2. Warm up Music movement: Head Shoulders Knees and Toes Game: I say you point T: point to your head, point to your book, point to boys…… Point to your friend 3.Lead in T: I have a new friend, and today I want to show you her photo. But you have to guess who she is. (show PPT, and kids say she is Dora) T: Today Dora will go to some place, please listen carefully and then tell me where she is going? (Play the radio and kids listen) 4.

Learn word ”bookshop”

Show video where Dora is in the bookshop Q: What is Dora doing? Where is she? Where can we buy books? Game: Postman, postman. 2)

Learn word “zoo”. Show video where Dora is in the zoo.

Q: What animal is it? Where can we see this animal? Where is Dora? Game: Volume up up 3)

Learn word “school”

Show pictures where Dora is in the Jin Sha Elementary School Q: Where is Dora? What place is it? Is it our school? Game: Jump Jump 4)

Learn word “supermarket”

T show Ss a big bag where there are many fruits Q: What fruit is big and round and sweet? Where can we buy these fruits? Game: What supermarket do you know? 5)

Learn word “park”

Show Ss a pic about People’s Park where there are birds flowers and trees Q: What place is it? Do you know? What else parks do you know? 6)

Learn word “hospital”

Show Ss a picture where Dora is in the Hua Xi Hospital. Q: Where is Dora? Why is Dora is in the Hua Xi Hospital? What other hospitals do you know? 5.

Practise 1) Flash cards T show Ss flash cards and Ss say the name.(the first group can get one star) 2) I say you guess T: Dora can buy apples so where is she? Dora can read many books , so where is she? Bill can see many elephants , so where is he? Pair work( By group. Boys and girls. By line or row)
