Life in the future，本模块以学校和生活为题材，主要内容为运用一般将来来描述未来的学校、未来的生活等。从全书来看，本模块承接上一模块对一般将来时be going to的运用，着重与will的区别使用，让同学们通过课堂活动来掌握其用法，教学重点是通过对未来学校的想象和描述，重点学习本模块中出现的重点词汇、短语、固定搭配和句型。培养学生们对未来生活的探索的欲望和对生活的热爱。

【学情分析】

七年级下学期的学生经过初中一学期的英语学习，已掌握基本的阅读策略，如泛读、寻读等。大部分同学已经能开口和老师用英语进行交流，而且学生对未来的话题也比较感兴趣，愿意畅想未来，去谈论该话题。但学生在思维的逻辑性和批判性方面还不够成熟，对于文本的深度理解还需要加大训练。

Step 1 Warm-up 1.

Enjoy a short video about the life in the future. 2.

Review what they have learned in last class. Make sentences with “will” to talk about the future life in the video. Step 2 Lead-in 1.

Show the four pictures in Activity 1 and let students describe what they can see in the pictures. 2.

Ask several students to share their opinions. Step 3 Pre-reading

Read them together.

Step 4 Post-reading 1.

Hand in the homework of the drawings about six aspects of future life: Weather, clothes, jobs, travel, food and school. 2.

Discuss in groups and write sentences about their opinions of the future life by using “will”.

Each group choose a reporter to share their opinions. Step 6 Homework Interview the reporters of other groups and then write a passage about the future life from the six aspects mentioned.
