一、学生分析

七年级学生经过了将近一年的初中英语的学习，已经具备了初步的英语听说能力，又是急于表达自己的时候，在授课过程中巧妙地加以引导，不但能提高课堂效率，而且能激发学生学习英语的积极性。的关键时期，而本课的学习是在前面两课的学习基础上了解用英语表达运动会。

二、教材解读

体育与健康（sports and good health）是冀教版七年级英语下册第七单元的中心话题，本话题与学生的生活和成长息息相关，而且这一话题的内容渗透至生活中的每一个方面、每一件事，因此学生比较重视，也比较容易用英语进行表达,学好第三十九课也能对本单元后面各课的学习起到铺垫作用。

三、教学目标

知识与技能目标：掌握本课的重点单词和短语success, winner, event ,throw ,teammate ，get in the way ,thank sb for sth/ doing sth. 过程与方法目标：采用情境教学和任务型教学方法，学习如何表达运动会。

情感态度与价值观目标：通过本课学习，能够懂得运动有益健康，懂得输赢并不重要，重要的是开心和参与。

四、教学重难点

教学重点：掌握本课词汇知识和表达运动会的句型

教学难点：运用英语描述运动会。

五、教学过程：

Step 1: Warming up

play the song The Cup of Lfe and ask:

What kind of sports do you like? 【设计意图】通过世界杯主题曲，导出本单元的主题sports and health。再随机问学生喜爱的运动，进行短暂的热身。

Step 2: Lead in 播放去年本校运动会的视频，问学生以下三个问题：

What are they doing?

3.

What kind of sport can you see in the video?（板书：头脑风暴的形式）

然后一起来回答解决三个问题，再问学生：Can you write a report about our sports meet last year? 学生肯定回答：不会，然后告诉学生那就是我们今天要学的内容，从而导入新课。

【设计意图】：帮助学生回忆去年运动会的概况，使用头脑风暴法（brainstorm）让学生说出一些与运动会项目有关的词。为进一步学习本课知识做好铺垫。

Show some pictures of Sports Day last year，let them work in groups. Talk about the last sports meet at your school.
