Say in English some phrases of activities. Eg: take photos; go shopping; listen to music; 2.
Ask and answer questions about one’s activities in free time by using new structures.

What do you do when you have free time?
I often/usually watch cartoons. 4.
Learn to be a better listener and have more confidence in speaking English.

Using target sentence “What do you do when you points have free time?” to ask others’ free time activities. 2.

T guides Ss to recall the phrases they have learned before . 2.
T quickly shows pictures of phrases on the screen one by one, Ss race to be the first to answer what the phrases are. For example, T shows a picture of a people watching TV , Ss from race to answer “watch TV”.

Have the pupils to practice the sentences with using the phrases about activities that have learned, preparing for the new sentence structure. Step2 Presentation

Learn new phrases about activities and the sentence patterns. 1.
T introduce the daily routine ,then ask S “What do you usually do when you have free time?”

Learn the new phrases about activities. And try to use the phrases about activities in sentence. a.
Repeat the phrases one by one in line. Pay attention to the pronunciation .
b.Have the pupils work in pairs , try to read adn understand the sentence. 3.
Let’s match
After learning and practicing ,
ask the whole class match the picture and phrases . 4.
Let’s chant. 5.
Practice the sentence .
Group work
a. T divides Ss into groups of 4.
b. T shows the pictures of activities on the screen,T chose one picture for S to practice. Each group discuss and the act the dialogue out . T can give an example for pupils.
Step3 Sum up

Preview the dialogue . 2.
Interview parents on their free time activities by using sentences learned from the class.
