二、教材分析

本册讲述李明来到加拿大学习英语，和JENNY一家住在一起，并接触了加拿大的饮食文化，学校教育，及民族风情。本单元的主题是李明来到加拿大，和我们一起学习一些有关家庭用品，房间及家务的词汇。在本课中介绍了做饭和洗盘子，属于饮食方面的内容。

三、学情分析

在前边第3课我们已经学了MAKING BREAKFAST ,所以我采用温故知新的方法来引出新的内容。在教学中我采用情境教学法，让学生在实践中体会学习英语的乐趣，在多说、多练、多做做学会口语传递信息，提高学习效率，同时增进对西方文化的理解。

四、教学目标

1.Student can understand read say and practice the dialogue of this lesson . 2.Student can understand read say the following words: cabbage peas onions and carrots. 3. Student can understand read say and practice the present continuous tense . 五、教学重点：本课的四会单词。

六、教学难点：clean 和dirty 的区别与运用。

七、教具准备：录音机、教学卡片、实物等。
