①Introduce and show the letters Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv and read the words: school, tea, umbrella, vegetables with their beginning letters. Ss follow the teacher to read. ②Go through the process of writing each of the new letters. Then, slowly write each letter on the board and ss follow on their activity book. T walks around to check. Play a game : remember the words. Who can say more will get praise. ③Review the letters in different colour (that will learn in this lesson), ss say the sound. Then t point to the letter S(for an example) and ask what colour is it ? Ss may say orange or in Chinese. Then show the colour picture, play the sound, ss follow to read. The other colours go the same way. Then play the audio tape, ss listen and follow, give them time to make a dialogue using their objects. ④T finds sth with these colors in the classroom and ask ss what color it is and answer. T ask ss point to their colored pencil Then take out their activity book, and colour Danny.
