Unit 6 In the kitchen
(Story time)
教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会读、会说单词:meat, potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables, look for, love。
2. 能听懂、会读、会说现在进行时态的疑问句:Are you doing …?及回答Yes, I am./No, I’m not.
How is the meat/soup/…?及正确回答。
3. 能正确理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导下尝试复述课文内容。
4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做的事情。
教学重点:
1. 能够理解故事内容。
2. 理解并初步运用句型: Are you doing …?Yes, I am./No, I’m not.How is the meat/soup/…?及正确回答。
3. 能正确朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

S:... T:I’d like to share a short story with you.The story is “Frog food”. (小故事激发学习兴趣,将话题转到食物讨论)
( Story: I like bugs on pancakes/ popcorn /soup/ bread/ pizza/ salad/cake.I like bugs.”) T:
Boys and girls .Do you like bugs?

Do you like nice food ?
S: Yes, I do. T:
Do you like hamburgers/hot dogs?

3.Let’s know something about Chinese diet and western diet. 1) Chinese people eat with chopsticks. Western people eat with forks and knives. 2) Chinese people placed the food in the middle of the table and share the food together. Western people has their own plates to contain the food.

3)Chinese people often have some porridge and steamed buns for breakfast. Western people often have cereal , bread, eggs and sausages for breakfast. 4) For lunch and dinner, Chinese people often have some meat, some vegetables, some soup and some rice. Western people often have some hamburgers, some sandwiches and some coffee.They often have some beef, some salads and noodles for dinner. 5)
They like desserts very much. 6)
Chinese people and Western people have defferent diets. But they both enjoy the food,enjoy the happiness.
