Unit 5 What do they do? 一、教学内容：译林小学英语U5 Storytime 二、学情分析：

这一单元主要是介绍职业。学生在四年级初步接触过一些职业类词汇，所以在上课时学生能够和教师进行一些简单的交流。学生可能遇到的问题就是在对第三人称she/he/it描述时，不能正确使用动词的第三人称单数形式。通过观看光盘，创设情境，组织游戏等活动帮助学生理解故事，建构知识。让学生在主动探究、合作学习的过程中，内化知识，提升能力。

三、教学目标：

1.学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词或词组:teach, writer,factory worker, help sick people 2.学生能初步感知句型，能初步听懂并且会读，理解句型：What does…do?He’s / She’s a ….He/She…(s/es)…

3. 学生能初步理解本篇对话并能复述。

Step1 : Warming up 1.Enjoy a song 《what do you do?》

2.Free talk T: Hello, boys and girls , in this song, what are they talking about?A . Hobbies B. Jobs S:B. Jobs. T: What do they do ? It means “What are their jobs?” “job”means “职业”。出示job 领读两遍。

Step2: Storytime 1 Play a game. T: Today , we’ll learn the text about jobs.Unit 5 《What do they do 》.学生跟读课题。

T:First ,let’s guess their jobs. （出示被遮挡的图片让学生猜）What does he do? S:He’s a doctor. T:教授doctor,学生跟读，拼读。

T:What does she do? 学生继续猜。

S:She’s a teacher. T:教授nurse.学生跟读拼读。

同理教授职业类单词:driver，farmer，cook，policeman，nurse, worker.
