二、学生情况分析

本单元的学习主题是天气,这是学生非常熟悉的话题。对于本课的大部分描述天气的词汇以及12个描述月份的词汇学生在过去三年的学习中都已接触过。但是,这些月份类单词认读、拼写比较难,可以在每天的Daily talk中就逐步渗透。本单元是4A教材的最后一个单元,因此在本单元的教学中将就知融入到文本中,以旧句型带动新词汇的学习,确定本单元三个主题分别为:Seasons in different countries,Charlie’s favourite season,My favourite season。将核心词汇分解为两个课时进行学习,兼顾新授语言的难度,并利用学生已习得的语言知识丰富语言内容。

三、教学目标设定

知识与技能

1、能够正确朗读含有字母组合‘th’的单词:thin,path等。

2、在谈论Weather的语境中,理解并学习本单元核心词汇:sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, warm, hot, wet, dry, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, China, Australia, always。

3、在谈论Weather的语境中,能够熟练地运用核心句型How’s the weather in…?来询问不同季节、地域的天气情况,并能够熟练运用核心句型It’s…进行回答。4、在谈论Weather的语境中,能够熟练地运用There be句型对季节/月份进行归类,并熟练地运用What are they? / Do you like …?等已学过的句型询问他人对季节/月份的了解情况。

5、在谈论Weather的语境中,能够熟练地运用We can…来描述在各个季节/月份中人们所从事的活动。

6、在谈论Weather的语境中,能够熟练地运用month, weather, clothes,activity 等信息形成描述季节的语言框架,并运用到描述一个自己喜欢的季节。

●文化情感

通过在Weather语境中的学习,让学生了解不同地域、不同季节的气候特征、所见所闻以及在各个季节人们所从事的活动等,使学生感受到季节与我们人类的生活息息相关,从而激发学生热爱大自然,热爱生活的情感。

●学习策略

1、通过听说读的方式,以语篇语境带动核心词句的学习。

2、以师生交流、生生交流的方式初步运用核心词汇和句型。

3、以角色扮演活动、小组交流活动等方法,进一步运用核心词汇和句型。

4.通过表演、描述等法,综合运用核心词汇和句型,提高语用能力。

【语用任务】

在谈论Weather的语境中,熟练运用核心句型How’s the weather in…? It’s …对不同季节、地域的天气情况进行问答,让学生了解不同地域、不同季节的气候特征、所见所闻以及在各个季节人们所从事的活动等,使学生感受到季节与我们人类的生活息息相关,从而激发学生热爱大自然,热爱生活的情感。

S: Charlie, are you O.K? It’s summer not winter. It’s hot not cold. And I want to go to the beach. C: Oh, OK.

C: It’s autumn. It’s cool and cloudy. O.K! Let’s go. I have my sweater, sneaker, jeans and jacket. We can play soccer.

Sue: Spring is nice. It is warm. It’s rainy and wet too. It’s not cold. Spring comes in March, April and May. In March, we can plant trees. In April, the plants grow and grow. In May, we can see many beautiful flowers. The leaves are green. The flowers are colourful. It’s my favourite season. Miss Fang: Do you like spring, Peter?

Peter: No, I don’t.

Sue: What’s your favourite season?

Peter: My favourite season is autumn. It’s cool and dry. It comes in September, October and November. It is sunny and hot in September. We can play football in the playground.
