Analysis of Teaching Material War and peace is a heated issue in society. Syria is now at war which is very terrible.

This module takes war and peace as the topic.

Listening part first let 教材分析

students read an article called “Blitz, access to relevant background knowledge, and then listen to a conversation about the Blitz of interviews, complete the relevant practice, cultivate students' ability of listening information. The Main Task: The students will be helped to improve their words, phrases and sentences about memory. Besides, they will be helped to improve their listening skills. If they can, students are asked to do a role -play about the passage in the class. Language objectives: 教学目标

The students are able to get information about the Blitz in London by listening and extract key points. Skill objectives: The students are able to talk about their memories with learnt expressions. Emotional objectives: The students can develop a spirit of loving the peace and study hard to enrich the mind. Important points: 教学重难点

Get the students to know the detail information about the Blitz and get them to

know how to express their memories. Difficult points:

Train the students to improve listening and speaking skills Students are from grade two in High school and they may have difficulty in listening because of lacking information about the Blitz 教学方法

Based on task-based teaching mode; Warming-up to arouse the students’ interests in the topic; Situational approach; Cooperative approach.

教师活动

Step 1 Lead in (3mins) 1,to begin with a video which is about Syria at war now 2,ask students to describe their feelings after watching it by using some adjective words

Step 2 Pre –listening (4 mins)

1, To check the students’ independent the “Blitz”. 2, Let students to do a vocabulary exercise (to finish an exercise on their and guess the main idea of the passage.

Step 3 While-Listening (10 mins) 1,Ask the students to read the questions quickly
