教学设计说明

学情分析：

三年级学生经过两年多的英语学习，已经积累了一定的词汇量，具有基础材料的朗读和简短的对话交流的能力。对英语学习有着较为浓厚的学习兴趣，也形成了较好的学习习惯。他们活泼好动、愿意表现，对游戏、儿歌、故事等尤感兴趣，有着较强的求知欲和表现欲。

在学习本单元内容之前，学生已经在一、二年级接触过相关的颜色类单词、外形类单词等；学习过What’s this/that?等相关句型；能运用What colour is it? It’s…等来询问颜色，以及用can句型来表达能力等。

模块教学任务分析：

3AM4的模块主题是The natural world （自然界），

分别围绕Insects（昆虫）, On the farm（农场里）以及Plants（植物）这三个与大自然接触的层面展开。学习关于昆虫、农场动物和植物等词汇及相关句型，并让学生在学习的过程中，懂得珍惜和保护各种昆虫、动物、和植物，热爱并保护大自然的道理。此外，学习字母u在单词中的发音，区别元音字母在单词中的发音及归类。

单元教学任务分析：

3AM4U1的单元主题是Insects（昆虫）。通过本单元学习，能合理运用与描述常见的昆虫类词汇，如：bee, ant, ladybird, butterfly等；能运用Look！What is it? It’s a …It’s …It can …等进行昆虫的问答以及特征描述；在此过程中，感受昆虫种类的不同、特征的不同，感受自然世界中昆虫的奇异。此外，学习字母u在重读闭音节单词中的发音。

单元教学设计思考：

第一课时，彩虹小学组织要去昆虫馆参观，Miss Fang在教室里和学生讨论所知道的昆虫。在Danny、Kitty、Alice和Ben在谈论各自所知的昆虫过程中，学习、操练与运用四个昆虫类核心词汇（insect, ladybird, bee, butterfly, ant等）；运用已学句型Look at …. It’s …. It can ….描述昆虫的特征，感受不同昆虫的特征和能力。 第二课时，在复习第一课时4个核心词汇的基础上，延续课时情境，借助场景昆虫馆中的互动环节，通过问答收集信息完成任务，并学习、操练与运用What is it?. 等核心句型；同时，利用已学句型What color is it? Is this a …?等在问答中学会收集信息，综合昆虫的的外形与特点，并用Look at the ..... It is…It can…

等进行描述。同时，进一步感受自然界，昆虫界的无穷魅力。

第三课时，在复习核心词汇与核心句型的基础上，延续上一课时情境，利用场景（明天去昆虫馆，孩子们争做志愿者，分头介绍昆虫），在跟伙伴们分享的过程中，大家一起来交流，介绍自己喜欢的昆虫，并模仿书上Play a game的标本游戏，合作完成任务，使学生熟练地对某一昆虫整体描述，表达对大自然中小事物（小昆虫）的喜爱之情。此外，学习字母u在单词中的发音，能举一反三。

在介绍ladybird的过程中，可以逐步放手，让学生们互相通过提问和回答来完成样本的介绍，并在介绍中有所发现，对于昆虫的特征有更多的了解。比如、每个昆虫有两个触角。

以角色扮演的方式，巩固新知。拓展知识，让学生在英语学习中学到更多的人文知识。
