教学目标:
1知识目标:学生掌握下列词汇并能口头运用:old、young 2能力目标:学生能够理解并能用以下语句进行交际:

Step1: Class opening
Hello, boys and girls, How are you today? I’m happy to study English with you, Are you happy?
If you are happy, please stands up, let’s have a chant:clap and numbers. Step2: New concept (一)教授词汇
1 教授词汇old
(1) 出示图片,让生比较。
T:I have two pictures,please look carefully,what differences do you find? S:
T:(指着老人的图片说)This one is old.(老师教读单词old,并板书,指名读) (2) 幻灯片出示老人图片
T: Is he\she old? S:Yes. T: Yes,He\She’s old. (老师教读句子并指名读) (3) 让自告奋勇的学生模仿老人走路。
T:Who can mimic the old man walking? When he or she is walking,we say: old old he or she’s old. 2 教授词汇young (1)幻灯片出示年轻人的图片. T:Is he old? S:No. T: Yes , He’s young(老师教读单词young,并板书,指名读) (2)师生同喊口号。
T: boys and girls , If you are young , please stand up and follow me:young,young,I’m young. T:年轻是美好的,我们要珍惜现在的美好时光,好好学习,天天向上。

教授句型
1问答引出句型。
T: Are you old or young? How old are you? 先板书How are you? 让学生回答,再板书How old are you? 老师解释句型:你几岁了就可以回答I’m___ (years old).括号里的词可有可无。当你一岁时,year 不加字母s. 2老师领读句型,指名读,并用词卡袋让学生反复操练句型。
3 Play a game:Stop, Go 3 Listen to the tape and answer questions. T:Do you want to know our friends’age? Let’s listen to the tape and answer questions. Step3: practice
