Review the text of Unit 1 . 2.

Review the structure : --whose cat is this?

3. Show some pictures, ask the students to look at the pictures , then play the guessing game. 4. Show a picture, ask the students to answer: What can you see in this picture? Step 2 Pre-reading 1.Learn the new words and show the students a lost and found note. 2.Complete the sentences with the correct words and expression from the box. Keys: (1) camera (2) mobile phone Step 3 Reading 1. Scanning Ask students to scan the passage and try to find the main idea of each paragraph. 2. Skimming (1).Ask students to skim the passage and decide true or false: (2). Ask students to read the passage again and answer the questions: 1) When do people often lose things? 2) Why are there lost and found offices at airports and stations? 3) What do people do at the lost and found office? 4) What strange things are there at the New York City Lost and Found Office?
