Hello!". Sing it together. Step 2 Revision Review let’s talk and let’s chant. Step 3 Presentation 1. Lead-in 1) Take out a box. Ask: What's this? Ss: It's a box. 2) Show the picture and the word "box" on PPT. 3) Read the word

Follow me: box, box, box (Team A / Team B) Pass the box one by one and read the word. 4) Spell the word: show me the fingers and follow me. 2. T: There are many things in the box. Do you want to touch? Ask four students to touch and take out, then ask "What's this?" 3. Put the doll into the box. Say: I have a doll. But I can't find it. Where is my doll? Lead out the word "where". Teach it and explain it to the students. 4. Where is my doll? Open the box. Say: Oh, it's in the box.

Then the teacher asks the question again. Team A and Team B answer it.

After that, show the model sentence on PPT. Let the students read it together. 5. Put the doll on the box. Ask: Where is my doll? 6. Teach the new words: pen, book, bag, chair, desk. 7. Put other things in or on different places to ask and answer. (Put a book in the desk / on the desk, put a pencil in the bag / on the chair, put a ruler in the pencil box / on the box...)

Step 3 Practice

1. Show the pictures in "Let's learn" on PPT.

2. Ask students to make replacement practice by looking at the pictures. 3. Let some pairs show out their conversations.

Step 4 Play a game 1. Demonstrate with a student.

T: Close your eyes. Please guess: Where is my pen? S: It's... 2. Ask students to work in pairs like this. 3. Let some pairs act out their conversations. Step 5 Summary and Homework 1. Summary what we have learned today. First let students express their ideas. Then the teacher gives a summary. 2. Homework: Draw your bedroom and discuss with your classmates by using the sentence pattern “Where is...? It's in / on the....”
