Who are they? What’s your father’s/ mother’s job? Is your father/mother a...? Step 2: Presentation & Practice I have my family ,too.And I have my friends.Do you want to meet my friends? Look! She is coming.(PPT shows the Zip’s photo.)

First,let’s guess.How many people are there in Zip’s family? Who are they?

Let a pupil answer the question, the teacher writes the answers on the blackboard. (3)

Read the story and circle the difficult words or sentences,solve them. T: Do you have any difficulties in the story? Read the story, circle the difficult words or sentences,solve them. (2)

Let pupils read the story with questions. What's Zip's father's job? What's Zip's uncle's job? What's Zip's grandpa's job? 3.

After-reading (1)

Imagine and finish the table. PPT shows Zip’s father’s photo.

T: Who’s he? What’s his job? Can you say more about him?

What about other members? Imagine and finish the table. Then ask some pupils to show their answers. The teacher writes the answers on the blackboard. (2)

Look at the blackboard, imitating Zip to introduce Zip's family. Let the teacher make an example. Then ask some pupils to introduce. (3)
