教学重点：学习有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。

教学难点：四个动词词组的书写以及词组empty the trash的发音，句型I can…的运用。

教法与学法：TPR教学法、游戏法、视听法、阅读教学法

教具准备：课件、单词卡片、短文素材、感恩节贺卡、垃圾桶、喷壶、扫帚、抹布、厨师帽、水

教学过程：

Ⅰ.Warm up 1.Sing a song“Fly the butterfly”. 2.Introduce myself and greetings. 3.Have a free talk： Can you fly? What can you /he/she do? Ⅱ.Presentation Step1.Phrases 1.Learn to say “sweep the floor”

1) T:Just now I watched TV and see these superstars.Now I want to have a sleep.But now I must do housework.First, I sweep the floor. 2)Distinguish the pronunciation between “sleep”and “sweep”. 3) Do the action of “sweep the floor”.

4) Read the phrase after teacher and practise to say in pairs. 5)T:What can you do? (Ss:I can sweep the floor.) OK,you’re helpful. 2. Learn to say “empty the trash”.

1)Show an empty trashbin and say “This is a trashbin. Now it’s empty.” Make the students to understand the meaning. 2)Do the action of “empty the trash”,then distinguish the different speech and interpretation.

3) Spell the phonetics of empty and trash. 4)T:Who is a helpful man? What can you do?(引导学生用学过的短语进行回答) 5) 温馨小贴士：Remember to pick out the batteries. 3. Learn to say “clean the bedroom”.

1) T:After sweep the floor and empty the trash.I’m going to clean the windows.Then I have a clean bedroom. 2)Lead to “clean the bedroom”

3)Read it in different ways. 4)Make the students to say “clean the desk/chair/door/wall/ light…”

5)Play a game:Listen and do the orders. 4. Learn to say “cook the meals”

1)T：Now my room is clean and bright.And I’m hungry.I should cook the meals. 2)Read the phrase together. 3)T:Can you cook the meals? What can you cook? Who is the cook in your family?(Distinguish the different meanings.) 4）温馨小贴士：Remember to switch off the gas.

5. Learn to say “water the flowers”.

1)T:After dinner.I walk to my garden and see my flowers.Oh,the flowers look thirsty.They need some water.So I can water the flowers.(用实物和动作区分water的不同词性) 2) Use the falling tone said to read the phrase. 3)T:Are you helpful at home? What can you do? Step 2.Play a game: What’s missing?(综合复习五个动词词组) Ⅲ.Consolidation 1.能干的机器人：If you have a robot ,what do you want it do for you? 2.关注留守儿童：In our country ,there are many stay-at-home children.Their parents go to big cities to do migrant jobs. They usually live with their grandparents. They feel lonely.But they are all helpful. They can help their grandparents to do housework. As the age of the pupils, hand in hand we can be friends. 3.Read a passage of Nannan,then answer some questions ①What’s her name? ②How old is she? ③Where does she live? ④Who does she live with? ⑤Is she helpful? ⑥What can she do? ⑦What is her greatest wish? 4.制作感恩节贺卡：The fourth Thursday in November is Thanksgiving Day.Our mother is hard.Now let’s make a card for them and write about your heart to thank our mother. Ⅳ.Sum up T: We all hope to do a useful person.Let’s do it now. Because a helpful man is always happy.
