教材分析

本课是新标准小学英语一年级起点三年级下册第一模块的第一课时，课型为“新知与呈现”。本课的话题是Panpan向大家介绍自己的好朋友，并逐一描述他们的性格特点。主要语言功能是运用

“ He’s / She’s + adj”谈论他人的性格。通过本节课的学习，学生能够运用已学语言描述他人的性格，培养学生尊重他人，广交朋友的美好情感。

三年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础，由低年级的认读型课堂向着中年级的自主学习型课堂转变。他们学过long, short, big, small， tall, fat, clever, naughty, lovely等描述人物特点的单词，为本课谈论人物性格特点打好了铺垫。但是人物性格不能仅通过一个词语描述清楚，所以教师要引导学生善于用“but”描述人物性格特征的复杂性，有利于学生的心智发展。

语言知识目标：在语境中理解、听说、认读单词nice, shy, quiet, a bit, always；掌握“He’s / She’s + adj”句型的结构和语与用功能。

语言技能目标:能够运用“He’s / She’s + adj”谈论他人的性格特点。

情感态度价值观：能够善于发现别人的优点，懂得尊重他人。
