STEP1: Warming up

Sing 1,2,3,4,5 song

Review the words learned before

first, second, third, fourth, fifth

Chant and Clap hands together

Read quickly

Try to tell: When is the festival?

STEP2: Presentation

Watch the story time together

Learn new expressions: Good job, Of course,

Don’t worry (ask students to read and try to read )

Learn new words: show, tonight, more, practice(some words students know how to read and some words taught by teacher) Then students try to read four words together

STEP3: Practice

Watch the video again and try to know What will they do and when will they do those things? And ask the students to assort

the papers on the blackboard and put the related things and the animal together.

Ask the students to retell the story picture by picture.

Ask a students to make the story clearly for the classmates: say the main idea in Chinese.

STEP4: Emotion teaching

Play the video again and teach the students : practise makes perfect.
