教材分析&学情分析：

本课课文选自《英语（牛津版）》高中一年级第二学期Unit 3 More reading Learn to care for plants.这篇文章主要介绍了三种可用于装饰的植物：茉莉花、玉兰花、金琥仙人球。

我校高一学生英语水平一般，大部分学生不敢用英语表达自己的想法。学生通过主阅读The interesting world of plants的学习，已经认识了一些植物，对这个话题比较感兴趣，生活中有些学生家里也养殖了植物，学生有话可说。文本的茉莉、玉兰花、金琥等在生活中比较常见，但是学生不熟悉英文名称及发音，因此，课堂活动中要注重引导学生开口朗读，并且积极参与活动。
