Teaching Plan: Unit 2 Looking For a Hospital

本节课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生，年龄大约是12-13岁。他们活泼开朗，敢于开口，乐于模仿，能积极参与课堂活动。在学习本单一、学情分析

元之前，学生已经有一定的词汇、句型知识储备，为本单元进一步的拓展和延伸提供了可能性。

本课为六年级上册第二单元Looking For a Hospital的词汇新授课，旨在通过多个活动学习和掌握本课的词汇和句型。另外，教师以学生熟悉的卡通人物Gogo为主线，创设微信聊天情景，并设置活动Sharp Eyes、二、教材分析

Treasure Hunting、Let’s be a volunteer三个活动，环环相扣，层层递进，让学生在情景中灵活运用已学的单词和句型，并综合训练学生的听说读写能力。最后结合评价工具“笑脸”进行情感升华（Helping Others is a happy thing. Smile and be polite.）

1. 能看懂地图，正确运用所学过的单词和句型进行交流。

2. 能在教师的引导下，运用恰当得体的语言进行自由表达。

五、教学过程

（简述：本节课以学生非常熟悉喜爱的人物Gogo为主线创设微信聊天情景，并设置活动Sharp Eyes、Treasure Hunting、Let’s be a volunteer三个活动，环环相扣，层层递进，让学生在情景中灵活运用已学的单词和句型，并综合训练学生的听说读写能力。最后结合评价工具“笑脸”进行情感升华（Helping Others is a happy thing. Smile and be polite.）。为学生创设真实的语用环境；以培养学生的核心素养为目标，从词到句，从句到篇，巧妙开展听说读写等多项技能的训练。）

Step 1: Warming up & Lead in

Sing a song: What’s the matter, Gogo? 2.

Gogo has a bad cold. He wants to go to the hospital. But he doesn’t know the way to the hospital. He asks Tony for help on the we-chat. Step 2: Presentation Situation: Gogo and Tony are talking on the we-chat. Gogo: Tony, where is the hospital? Tony: Let me have a look. Here’s a map for you.

Go straight to the traffic light.

Turn left at the corner.

Cross the street.

Go straight to the bus stop.

The hospital is across from the bus stop. (Learn the new words one by one.) Step 3: Practice 1.

Sharp eyes. (1)

Students read the words as quickly as they can. 2.

Step 4: Summary 1. Helping others is a happy thing. Smile and be polite. Step 5: Homework Draw a map of your home and introduce it to your friends.
